Found out from my Prof in this class on comics im taking that cartoonist Charlie Hebdo, among others working for his zine, was killed by extremists in response to what were considered offensive depictions of the prophet Muhammad, aimed at zealotous extremists on a jihad spree these days. Respect for Monsieur Hebdo in sticking it to bullies till the day he met his maker. Stay offensive, kids.
