My character doesn’t just need lovers.

They need enemies that break them and force them to test their morals.

They need friends that will backstab them and hurt their feelings.

They need an enemy that will become a friend.

They need friends that they would lay down their life for.

They need people so close to them that they might as well be siblings.

They need fights and conflict and battles that could leave them broken and inches from death.

My character does not just need lovers.

Lune was surprised to have the silence broken with a question like that.

“Yes, Lord Minos. December 24th.” He answered. “I did not have anything planned for it.”

“I see.” Came the answer. He expected that from the Balrog, they knew each other for a long time and certainly figured he didn’t like his birthday still he could grant one thing for your favorite underling.

“I’m saying this now because I want you to think about it: you may take the 24th off if you want.”

What a useless time. He wasn’t sure what he loathed more –the pitiful humans acting falsely virtuous as if this one season would erase their sins, or the humans that used it as an excuse to somehow be even worst. He could feel their filthy greed.

He stayed in silence after that statement, waiting to see if the Balrog would say anything. When that didn’t happen, the Judge simply fliped a page of his book.

“Isn’t your birthday coming soon, Lune?”
