Batfam x neglected reader except the reader is a famous athlete and the family doesn’t notice it.
Reader and the family never speak too much because of their schedules— the reader is always out after school at the ice rink practicing and comes home lateeee at night and by then, everyone is out on patrol.
The Batfam all call Reader a nickname that is far from their actual name and it just kind of sticks. Meanwhile their real name is blowing up on social media because they’re about to go to the Olympics.
Reader sees Duke joining the family and thinks nothing’s going to be different with him. Boy are they wrong. Not only do they have the exact same classes in school but Alfred also picks them up at the exact same time late in the evening. Reader notices some bruises and just figures that Duke is also an athlete— what kind of Gotham superhero works in the day anyways? Anyways one day both of them stay out too long at work and think the other is already home by now. Reader’s just won a competition and doesn’t take their medal off and Duke doesn’t want to change out of his Signal uniform. Duke opens up the limo door and slides in only to hear a gasp from Reader. Both of them end up pointing at each other like that Spider-Man meme.
Winter break starts and Reader leaves to Milan for the Winter Olympics. Everyone assumes they’re going on vacation. Duke’s actually done with them and asks them to sit down and turn on the TV. Reader’s doing their routine and wins gold. Everyone’s shocked. Duke cries.
context : what if the neglected reader finds the book of king in yellow and ends up marrying an eldritch horror being
Chapter 1 , Chapter 2 , Chapter 3
John Constantine knew from the very beginning that this was a terrible idea.
It was Thursday night when Robin came to see him.
John had planned to get drunk and not think about anything for a moment, when that devil spawn showed up.
First of all, he broke his window!
And then he humiliated him, saying that as a grown ass man, he was pathetic (I mean, he kinda is, but still).
And then he told him what he wanted jhon to help with Finding Y/N Wayne, the missing daughter of billionaire Bruce Wayne. Of course, John knew this person was missing, everyone knew. The story of this girl's disappearance had become very famous by now.
But John didn't know why a Robin would care so much, so he asked for the reason.
And Robin just told him it was none of his business. So John said that if Robin didn't give a reason, John wouldn't do anything. What he didn't expect was for Robin to take off his mask and reveal his identity.Damian Wayne.
It seemed like the entire Batman group was actually the Wayne family.
Robin, or rather, Damian, urged John to look for his sister and at least find a trace of her.
And John agreed.
There wasn't much information about how the girl disappeared
Except for one thing
A cemetery caretaker was the last person to see the girl and reported that she had something in her hand.So John found the cemetery and went there.
Damian insisted on accompanying John. The two arrived at the cemetery gate.
A thin old man with white hair and a blue shirt and trousers was sweeping in front of the cemetery. The old man's eyes were red.The old man blinked when he saw the two, and then, in a tone that showed he wasn't very interested in talking to anyone, said that the cemetery was currently closed.
Robin pulled out a picture of Y/N from under his cape and showed it to the cemetery caretaker, saying, "We are here to investigate the disappearance of this girl, and we know you know about it."
The old man was shocked when he saw the picture, then sighed and invited John and Damian for tea at his house.
Damian wanted to protest that they shouldn't waste time, but John smiled and simply accepted.
The old man lived in a small cabin within the cemetery itself, and it was clear he was a lonely person. No grandchildren, no children, and no wife. The old man confessed this himself and said that Y/N was the only one who bothered to visit him every week, and because of that, the old man saw the girl as his own daughter. And then he started crying and said that since Y/N disappeared, the old man hadn't been able to sleep properly.
And he kept thinking about alternative realities where Y/N might be safe.If John didn't know better, he would have suspected the old man himself, but it seemed the old man genuinely cared about the girl.
John's mind was more occupied with that object the girl had when she was last seen
"Mate, you said in the report that the last time you saw the girl, she had something? Right?"John turned his gaze from the girl's picture next to the old man on the table and looked at the old man himself.
The old man blinked and sniffled and said, "Oh? Yes, yes! Y/N was holding something tightly to her chest when she was leaving the cemetery."
John asked, "Can you describe it?"
The old man replied uncertainly, "Well, I wasn't close enough to see what it was, but I remember one thing about that object..., it was yellow, at least I think it was yellow."
And then he sobbed again about how no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop the girl when she was leaving the cemetery. But what caught John's attention was that the old man said it was as if someone had held him firmly in place and wouldn't let him follow the girl.
John was silent for a moment, and then he made the worst decision of his life and asked the old man, "Mate, do you mind if I look up in your memories a bit?"
The old man looked concerned but agreed. And John went into the old man's mind. The old man was right, he was a lonely person and only this girl came to visit him.
And John looked at the girl's memories. The girl had been coming here since she was 10 years old, alone....
By looking at the memories, it was clear the old man was a really good person.
And then the last memory.John watched how the girl came towards the old man.
The girl looked younger than John thought, maybe 19 or 20 years old. The girl seemed naive.
What happened to the girl next made John feel sick.
It was night , and the weather seemed cold and even stormy, so the old man had made hot soup and hoped the girl would agree to stay with him until the storm ended tomorrow.
And then the girl came, disheveled hair, pale skin, and then John saw her.
The girl's eyes....
Blood was coming from the girl's eyes.
The horror in those eyes, John had never seen.
John quickly went to see if he could figure out what the girl was holding to her chest.
The surrounding memory turned black.
John finally saw what the girl was holding, a book!A yellow book. But before he could take a closer look at the book,The girl's memory turned her head towards John and said,
"You shouldn't be here."
John screamed from the severe pain in his head and felt something hot pouring down his cheek from his eyes.
When he touched his cheek, he realized it was blood ! .And before he could think more,He felt a more intense pain and lost consciousness.
In a desert that did not exist
A man in a French coat the color of the desert sands lay unconscious.
And the blood on the man's cheeks had dried from the heat.
A woman and a king slowly approached the man.
The woman did nothing to help the man.
The king ordered his wife, "Help the man."
The woman looked at her husband, the pale mask on both their faces showed no emotion, but the king could feel his wife's curiosity.
The woman turned her gaze back to the unconscious man and, with a new understanding, said, "I see, so that's what you were planning for..."
And so,
simply,
the shepherd brought the lost lamb home.
A home that did not exist.
When John regained consciousness,He found himself in a bed.
The room was old.
It looked like a combination of Middle Eastern homes and European castles.
A large domed window faced the bed, with colorful silk curtains swaying gently in a cool breeze, reflecting sunlight through them.
John quickly got out of bed, grumbled with dizziness from his headache, and placed his hand on his temple.
"You're finally awake."
John quickly turned his head towards the sound.A young woman in her early 20s stood before John.
She held a basin of cool water and a cloth soaked in cool water. The woman wore a pale mask on her face.
But John could tell that beneath the mask, the woman was hiding a scar similar to a burn.
The woman wore a long cream-colored dress with magenta patterns. What caught John's attention were the large golden earrings the woman wore.
"Who are you?!" John asked.
The woman sat by the bed and gently made John lie down again, and while soaking the cloth in cool water to place on John's forehead, she said, "I found you in the desert. You seemed to have a fever, so I brought you here."
John said suspiciously, "You didn't answer my question..., who are you?!" and firmly grabbed the woman's wrist.
The woman looked at John for a moment with an emotionless face created by the pale mask and said, "This is not the proper way to treat someone who saved your life."
John released the woman's hand and, with narrowed eyes of suspicion, offered an empty apology.
The woman continued, "My name is Y/N..., why don't you want to tell me your name?"
John's face lit up with shock, and he quickly sat up again and said, "You are Y/N?!"
The woman tilted her head and said, "Yes...."
John quickly looked around and then asked the woman, "Where are we, how are you here? What happened to you?"
The woman sighed and placed the wet cloth from the cool water into the basin and said, "I don't know..., the last thing I remember before waking up in this palace was being in a graveyard.I've been living here ever since..."
The woman placed a hand on the masked cheek she wore and said, "And I soon realized that my face was severely disfigured when I woke up here. I couldn't bring myself to look in the mirror, so I put on this mask..., how do you know me...?"
John looked serious and took the woman's hands and said, "Your family was looking for you, love, that's why they sent me to investigate your disappearance. Don't worry, you are safe now, jhon Constantine is here to help you , love ..."
Then he stood up.
The woman tried to protest, saying, "You're not well yet."
But John quickly stood up, picked up his jacket, put it on, and said, "We need to get out of this hellhole as soon as possible...!"
The woman sighed and said, "Okay..., but first I'll pack my things."John agreed and watched as the girl gathered the items she wanted, placed them in a cloth, made a bundle, and told John, "Now we can go."
John took the woman's hand and for the first time noticed a golden wedding ring on her finger, jhon narrowed his eyes but he didn't ask anything.
John muttered a spell and teleported himself and the woman. And both of them landed back on the old man's wooden cabin floor.
Robin, who was holding the frightened old man by the collar, watched in shock when he saw the two.
John stood up, put a cigarette in his mouth, lit it, and told Robin, "Mate, I think I found your gal...!"
here it is the chapter 3 !!!!! , I finally did it
Writings Constantine was real challenge because I don't know this man , so I had to go and rematch any thing Constantine was in it , I hope I capture this British man well

I had no idea why and so i panicked then one of my frind told me I should have done sprate paragraph
Kdj with an isekai'ed reader who becomes his best friend #4lifez that's all
P. S lwk haven't read past ch50 on webtoon so... I might be getting shit wrong... My only basis is that one fanfic I've read and shit I remember being spoiled from
You wake with a gasp, a scream ghosts along your throat like a raw, itchy cough. Bright yellow headlights sear you vision even when you close them repeatedly.
The truck— it hit... you. You were dead... you-
Your body aches, violently shuddering as if experiencing the harsh hit of the truck's hood over and over again.
Blood splattered all over the concrete, painting the dry road in a splotchy red. The burn was unforgiving, flesh dragging against rough asphalt in the sheer peak of summer vacation.
You remember your last thoughts. Your last words, as you weakly muttered for your deceased mother.
Screams and shrieks of terror echo all around you, it's deafening yet silent at the same time. There's this, incessant ringing in you ears. You try to reach and pull your arm up and oh— you can't move.
A blurry figure reaches you, and you swear you see your mother's face in the stranger.
Try as you might, but words seem to fail you. And you can't tell if it's your fault or the continuous, constant pain flaring in your lower half.
"Shi- han...! —ssing?!? Where-"
Darkness claimed you then.
Each inhale feels piercing. And each time you exhale, you remember the way your ribs caved in, splintering and tearing through your lungs—
Warmth seeps through your cheeks, they're hands. Warm and roaring with blood, with life.
Sounds garble and ring in and out your ear, and you watch as tears fall down their face in globs of worry.
They bring you in, embracing you with all the strength they could muster— firm yet gentle— for a second, your mind quivers. Questions linger the edge of logic, feeding you countless doubts and thoughts that's barely make any sense.
It was only now, did you finally realize you were in a hospital room, with a woman suspiciously similar to your mother.
Yet your soul knows otherwise.
Because your mother is deceased. Been so ever since you were twelve.
The woman embracing you is not your mother, but you let your delusions sing and cling to a copy.
Now its been a year since that... incident. Since the moment you woke up in this weirdly peculiar world— peculiar in the sense that it is not so different to your old one.
And that makes it quite strange.
You can't tell if the gods are messing with you but for some reason you got isekai'ed into whatever the hell this place's supposed to be.
Everything is normal.
No magic or superpowers, no dragons or curses to defeat, you can't wear ball gowns or luxurious dress because apparently this world was modern instead of historical— heck! There wasn't even a system (that's actually a hidden love interest) to guide you!
Everything is superbly normal. To the point that it's boring.
How else can you enjoy the perks of resurrection if this whole damn place was so fucking... normal?!?!?
You wanted to ride and tame a dragon, reenact your dreams of living in Hiccup's world. To fight as a general, to strategize a battle and win the war. To learn how to steer a ship and command a crew in search of treasure.
To do anything besides a repeat of your mundane life!!
Dying was a waste if it meant fantasies were mere fiction yet again.
You'd rather live in a cutthroat aristocratic society than go through another year of school.
Which unfortunately is your first day of senior high.
But you know what's worse than that?
You live in fucking korea. Home to severe bullying cases and rampant harassment all year round
To make your situation any better— you were transferring to a new school due to bullying.
Well it's not like you were properly victimized, it's more like you actually fought back and broke a nose or two.
But that's for another story.
Now you're standing in front of your new class, introducing yourself while assessing the profound number of immature brats who think so little about foreign-looking people like you.
It wasn't until you sweep your eyes in the front row, did you actually take a double take.
There, on the second seat, sits an all-too familiar black-haired reader.
Kim Dokja. The name rings in your head in utmost clarity and for the first time since you first woke up here, you finally realized the world you were isekai'ed to.
Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
One of the holy grails of manhwa and novels to exist.
"Shit." You curse quietly, snapping back into place as you finish your introduction. Sitting three rows behind your beloved character, you solemnly vow to give him the best, most happiest highschool experiences ever.
Just you wait Kim Dokja. You stare at him firmly, half listening to the teacher's lesson.
I'll be helping you through everything!
You greet him the moment class ends, introducing yourself and inviting him to lunch almost immediately.
You felt bad when you saw him hesitate. But if you're going to give him the best, most happiest highschool experiences ever, then you might just use your reader knowledge, the same way he did with Yoo Junghyeok.
"Do you know the novel by the name of Ways of Survival?"
Hook. Line. And sinker.
You got him right into your trap as he lights up in his own, Dokja way.
The weeks after that were spent with the both of you bonding over the novel— and you, the lying little shit that you are, had to read 100 chapters just to catch up with Dokja's scarily intact memory— shared interests, and lunches you always share with Dokja on the rooftop.
Whenever that hard-headed, brute Mingsu (Minsoo?) or whatever his name comes picking at Dokja, you're already there beating the shit out of him and his lackeys.
And when he snitches to the principal about your 'violence'. You threaten and blackmail the principal to release the footage you have of him and the young assistant all over the internet.
Safe to say, you were constantly under Bingsu's nerves.
There were times when you'd sneak into the Dokja's residence, climb over the fences and try not to alert his psycho of a mom— just to greet Dokja by the window and start a conversation as if he wasn't actively freaking out.
Thankfully, she never found out... You knew she had her suspicions, so you only ever sneaked in when your instincts told you Dokja was having a hard time.
And when a year passed of successfully making Dokja happy, you invite him out the night of his birthday. Sneaking him out the house to climb on the roof, where you prepared a small cake and bags of presents and goodies.
That moment cemented your drive to continue your pursuit as Dokja tearfully thanks you in joy.
A year turns into two, then four. From four to seven, then suddenly, the both of you are grown-ups in different careers.
Still best friends— not that you'd ever let him go— that talk about the series of Ways of Survival.
As the sole two readers of WSA, you began to memorize everything, down to the boring of lines, just to prepare yourself for the inevitable.
Dokja who's grown so familiar with your antics, has increasingly noticed your nervous ticks. Jumpy and almost tense in joining him during commute back home to your apartments.
It must've been your instincts flaring again. But whatever it was, it doesn't go unnoticed to your best friend's sharp eyes.
It wasn't until a certain train ride back home did he finally understand why you were so jittery in the first place. You had an inkling of this happening, which spanned three months before reality merged with fiction.
All this constant rereads of WSA, memorizing words like scripture, and your anxiety towards riding trains— it all comes crashing down into one singular conclusion.
You somehow knew this was going to happen.
His mind wraps around the idea in a chain of broken records: There were instances in his life where he always thought of you as someone too... knowledgeable. As if you were omniscient in some way.
But he brushed it off, chalking it up to your 'womanly instincts.'
He doesn't question you yet. This new reality of his was all too-much for both you and him.
He's also selfish.
Dokja doesn't want to lose you or push you away. You've been his lifeline since the beginning of highschool, he'd fight through hell and back just to get you, to save you.
Even if you were suspicious in his eyes— it doesn't change his true perception of you:
Because you are (Last Name) (Name). Someone he cared for and grew to love. Someone he valued besides his precious novel— and those thoughts were scarce, a once in a lifetime.
(Name) protected him from Minwoo. Sure, you beat him up but that wasn't important, no. (Name) was the person who tanked punches to the gut and face, busted their skin and lips from the fights they got often defending him.
(Name) was the person that made him smile through jokes and gifts. Cheering him up from his bad days, making him laugh even when he thought he couldn't.
(Name) was the person that silently gave their food on days he never felt like eating. When his mind had shutdown and memories would play back like a never-ending reel, dimming his world to a bleak and colorless life.
Even through his silence, you were always, always there for him. Despite his tendency to push, to distance, or place a wall between you. Even through his constant detachment, you somehow found a way to slither back into his life, like an insistent buzz.
Even through all that... it never once occurred to you to leave him like all the others.
You were an insistent yet beloved buzz he welcomed all the same.
The only person he'd let through his guarded walls, to peel back each layer, each chain and thorn he carefully put up, through each layer of defense until he was left vulnerable and bare.
Until he was nothing but flesh and bone, 'till you can peer down at his very soul. The flickering flame of life you could very well extinguish.
And despite showing you all his ugly and broken sides, you still chose to treat him with sincere kindness. To embrace all those layers of hurt, of hatred, that lay deep in his core.
A love that reached even his soul.
So in his eyes, you are someone heroic, a savior— his savior— The light he greedily enjoys while actively hiding you from prying eyes. From people who could (just as easily) take you away from him.
He is selfish, and Kim Dokja knows that very well.
Because in his eyes, you were Yoo Junghyeok— Similar and yet so, vastly different— but more than that, you are (Last name) (Name). Similar in acts but vastly different in nature.
And somewhere deep in his heart, deep in his soul, he would choose you over Yoo Junghyeok any day.
And that scares him. Violently, dangerously so.
Because all his life, he has only known Yoo Junghyeok.
But now...
He has (Last Name) (Name) in his life. A person who he holds so dear in his hollow, broken heart.
And he'll be damned if he ever loses you.
As the sole readers of Ways of Survival, you two team up to create the ending you both desire.
But both of you know that ending leaves one of you dead.
So you both pretend, and level up in the sidelines. You both pretend to not notice the other's growing abilities and obnoxious need to rise and achieve higher power.
Time is ticking, and the two of you are racing to finish your stories—because in this unforgiving world of WSA, only the main character can truly live in the end of the novel.
And neither of you are main characters in the first place.
You possess knowledge of the future— Kim Dokja's future. You know what decisions he'll make, you know that ending he's striving for isn't the one you two promised.
And Kim Dokja knows you see through him, but for the sake of saving the world— his world that he holds so dear. The light he greedily consumes. The person he's willing to die for— he remains intentionally ignorant.
But you have the upper hand.
Had so ever since the first time you saw him back in highschool.
Dying was a waste if it meant fantasies— the ending you sought for Dokja— were mere fiction yet again.
And you'll be damned if you can't change Kim Dokja's future.
What am I even writing 😭 I'm not gonna lie to ya'll I feel like kdj possessed me midway writing bcs I reached flow state and shi, I feel enlightened
Kim Dokja always gives me this posessive vibe. Like this man is nonchalant af but internally he's alr calculating ways to get your attention. NOT EVEN A YANDERE WAY BRU, but I am sooo thinking about ex-kdj and he's just planning ways to 'coincidentally' run into reader and I'm just MMMMM
"I dont wanna die" tears streamed down my face, as blood pooled is way into my mouth, the metallic taste was suffocating, I could feel my breath getting shallow. I could feel my heart slowing down.
I tried calling for help, no one answered, maybe they were busy... Or maybe they didn't care, I always did need saving. I always did mess everything up.
"I'm sorry Alfred...I'm so sorry Duke, I promised you both I wouldn't die" my eyes adverted to my bleeding womb—the one that wouldn't stop bleeding no matter how hard I tried.
"I'm sorry Lorelei,if I didn't chase their approval, maybe we'd still be friends... Maybe we'd all still be together"
I smiled weakly, "guess I'll be seeing you up there after all Zolani" my eyes slowly closed, and in the moment I took my last breath, I felt at peace.
At least thats what I thought.
Next thing I know, I opened my eyes and I was 14 again. I decided then and there that I'd survive, the first thing I did in this life was quit being Batgirl, I wasn't gonna hide behind a persona, behind a legacy, I'd never live up too. I'm gonna be my own person.
I made up with my friends, spent more time with Duke and Alfred and stopped chasing approval.
I was happy.
I regressed and now I was gonna be happy.
But a wise man once said, all good things must come to an end.

My eyes looked down on the black dots—no holes—that covered my room.Black holes that soon began spreading onto the people around me.Holes only I could see.
I stared calling those people tainted and I called people like myself untainted.
My world was glitching, it was cursed, everything was disappearing. That was until I met her.
"Who are you? " I tried to take a step back but I felt as if my body was frozen in place.
"Call me Solavita—Sol for short" she smiled.
She was beautiful, dark skin, black curly hair that simply fell over her shoulders, down her back and blue eyes that reminded me of the purest water, she was older than me—maybe in her late 20's.
But the thing that made her truely different is that she was the first untainted person I've seen—met in months.
I stared at her, "Y-you're untainted" she smiled, "is that what you call people affected by the glitch? "
My brows furrowed, "wait do you know what caused this?" I opened my mouth to speak again, but she cut me off
"You did" it was a statement, two words that hurt me to no end.
"You weren't supposed to regress the multi verse made a mistake, and this mistake is causing your world, no your timeline to fall apart" she explained
"Timeline?"
She smiled and nodded, "in the original timeline you stayed dead, this timeline should of never existed, you should of never regressed in this universe, at all, another version of you was supposed to get this gift, so the universe is trying to fix its mistake by erasing this timeline, it's trying to fix the one it broke."
My breath began to get shallow,I could still see her mouth moving, she was saying something, but I couldn't hear her, I couldn't understand her.
Tears swellled up in my eyes and then I felt pressure on my body like something was pulling me, I could see shock? Confusion? Maybe both make it's way into Solavita's face as she tried to grab me but then everything just went black like the world— folded me into it.
____________________
I shut up, sweat running down my face as I tried to control my breathing, my eyes darting around, brows furrowing.
"Where am I? " I looked around, "this is the room in my Pinterest board. I looked down at my body, "why am I bandaged? "
"Solavita?" I called out in confusion, did she bring me here?
A screen suddenly appeared in front of me.
[Welcome to Earth 132]
I blinked, "huh?"
[You are now the Y/n Wayne of this universe]
"Wait—what, I don't remember coming here? Was I sent here, did Solavita get bring me here? Why am I bandaged!? " I began to panick
'Breath'
I froze, I knew that voice, it was—Solavita's voice.
"SOL!?" I began looking around for her.
'I don't have much time, there was I mistake when we got here, I'm a teenager again, so my abilities aren't as strong, you need to survive on your own, listen to system, I'll find you again soon"
I blinked, now my mind was all over the place, I was scared—confused—I wanted to cry. My eyes looked back at the screen as the text changed.
idk if the reader is actually a yandere enough, but i wanted to write a fic where the roles were kind of reversed
You never thought about killing the Joker until your brother suggested it.
Why would you? Although you lived in Gotham, you existed in a totally different sphere so disconnected from the maniac clown, you never had to fear him. Your brother didn’t suggest it to you. He never would say such a thing to his precious, innocent little sibling who wasn’t supposed to know about their nighttime secrets. His little sibling who he, along with the rest of the family, did everything to shield from the horrors of Gotham.
It was by chance you overheard him. It was two in the morning and you were lurking in the kitchen, drinking water in the dark. You heard voices and footsteps approaching.
“What do you want Jay?” your oldest brother asked, his voice tired.
“I don’t know Dick,” the second oldest responds. “Maybe the Joker dead.”
An annoyed groan. “What fucking snack do you-” The door slams open and hallway light spills into the kitchen.
You feel like the rats in Ratitouille when the grandma blows open the wall and sees all the rats there and they’re all just staring at each other.
“What are you doing up?” Dick asks, his tone soft with you. His shoulders are slumped and the white t-shirt hangs loosely off his frame. His bare feet poke out from the hem of his blue plaid sleep pants. His black curls are still wet and combed away from his forehead.
You hold up your water bottle in lieu of responding.
Jason bumps shoulders with Dick as he strolls into the kitchen. He ruffles your hair on his way to the pantry. “You drink water like a freaking fish.”
“You don’t drink enough,” you mumble around the rim of the bottle. Jason is too busy rooting through bags of chips and cookie packages to counter your comment.
Dick steps into your space. He smooths the hair back out of your face and presses a quick kiss to your forehead. “Go back to bed, it’s late.”
“It’s late for you too.”
“We’re going to sleep soon,” Dick promises. He gives you a soft smile, one that makes his left dimple poke out and his eyes crinkle at the corners.
You return to your room without much fight, leaving your brothers in a dark kitchen, oblivious to the thoughts brewing inside of your head.
You never really thought about killing someone before. Sure, you’ve made jokes in passing about wanting to strangle your siblings or wanting to blow up a random, inconsiderate stranger on the street. But never in depth, planning it out like a psychopath. Maybe you are a psycho, for putting so much thought and time into this new plan of yours. But for your brother, for Jason it would be worth it. Anything to keep him around the manor more often.
You know something happened. He doesn’t like your father anymore, can barely stand to be in the same room as Bruce for more than twenty minutes before someone explodes. It has to do with Jason’s ‘death’ that really didn’t happen. Or that’s what your dad told you.
You had mourned Jason. You were hysterical during the funeral. That was your brother, and suddenly he was gone. He would no longer read to you at night anymore. The boy who would sneak into the kitchen and grab cookies before dinner was done. He would chase away the kids who teased you at school and teach you how to defend yourself in case he wasn’t there.
You had burned your funeral clothes and didn’t talk to anyone for a week.
And then years later, he returned.
He wasn’t the same, but he was back.
No one would tell you what happened. Bruce would shut down and vanish into his office whenever you tried to talk about it. Alfred would purse his lips and continue on his tasks as if he never heard you. Dick got quiet and still for a moment, and then he would spring back with a burst of fake energy and redirect you. Tim would pretend like he misunderstood your question and gaslight like you never asked him a question in the first place. And you would never ask Damian.
With the few scant pieces, you can sort of piece together something that may have happened. A terrorist, a bomb, a fake body. You would never ask Jason to relive what has to be the most traumatic part of his life. You just know you never want your brother to hurt like that again.
You miss how your family used to be. Sure, Dick was pretty standoffish and reluctant when both you and Jason were introduced to the family, but he eventually overcame that. Bruce used to smile a lot more back then. But you wouldn’t change having everything back like it used to be if it meant not having Tim and Damian as siblings anymore. But if you could do one small thing that would make Jason come around a lot more, to make your family whole again, you would do it in a heartbeat.
The funny thing about being Bruce Wayne’s child raised in the public eye, people forget about how smart Bruce Wayne actually is. They don’t connect the airheaded billionaire who parties every other weekend to the genius billionaire who uses his resources to change the city while increasing his profits. And they don’t realize how smart you turned out, even though your academic record is public knowledge at this point.
It would be ridiculous to assume that after living in the manor for most of your life, you never discovered your dad’s secret. He can try to hide the bruises, the tiredness, the sudden disappearances whenever another criminal escapes Arkham. But he raised you since you were a baby. He can’t trick you with the same methods he taught you. Your dad can create and hide all the secrets he wants. You won’t force him to spill anything unless he wants to. So you have no guilt in creating your own secrets.
You would do anything to keep your family together.

On an unassuming Wednesday night, a murder takes place within Arkham’s walls. It would not be discovered until morning.
The official reports and the media will claim it was heart failure.
By mid day, the streets of Gotham are in chaos. People are celebrating the death of the clown that terrorized them for years. It’s a gruesome display of happiness. People shoot off fireworks, beat clown shaped pinatas, and start drinking with their neighbors. Shockingly, there’s not much crime that night. The very few who liked the clown are forced into hiding, too scared by the overzealous displays of celebration. Gotham’s vigilantes have a confusing night of stopping illegal fireworks and public intoxication and not much physical crime.
The next morning, Jason Todd will discover a package on the doorstep of one of his safe houses. When he opens it with trepidation, he finds a glass container with two objects floating in liquid. The eyes seem to be laughing at him.
The coroner won’t discover it was air embolism until a week later. He already discovered the two glass spheres in place where the body’s eyes should be.
The coroner realizes it was a murder, but does not report it. Instead, he deletes the files that would say anything different. He suggests that the asylum burns the body.
No one suspects a thing.

Jason doesn’t like it when you drink underage, but he won’t snitch if you suddenly want a drink. And he’s not bad company. Sitting on the rooftop balcony of the manor, he doesn’t question why you texted and asked him for alcohol late at night. Instead, he joins you and goes through can after can of cheap beer. He doesn’t actually enjoy the taste, he confesses to you, but it’s an easier hangover than the hard liquor he got you. A true loving brother, getting drunk alongside you.
Jason lets you lead the conversation. You’re lamenting about how hard it is to buy a birthday gift for Tim’s upcoming birthday. Your brother says he doesn’t want anything, already has a million things, and anything he could want he could buy with his own thousands of dollars.
Jason taps his can against the banister rails before taking a drink. “Don’t get him anything weird. Kid is one strange item away from becoming a mad scientist.”
The alcohol has warmed your body so much you can feel the flush on your cheeks. It’s made your brain turn to mush, almost like it’s alphabet soup but instead of broth there’s applesauce. “Like eyes?”
Jason lowers his can from his mouth. His hand is minutely shaking. His eyes widen at you, green swimming around blue.
You don’t think you were supposed to bring that up.
“…How…” Jason’s voice is faint. “Did you…”
You smile at him, one that makes the corner of your lips curl up like a cat. “What?”
“No! You’re not playing that game with me!” The can in his hand is dented under his brute strength. “How did you know that?”
You tilt your head. “Hm?”
Jason throws the drink to the floor and grabs you by the shoulders, shaking you as if that could release an explanation. “The eyes! How did you know about the eyes?!”
Despite his bulk of muscles, his grip isn’t that tight, you could break free if you wanted. It’s almost like a comforting grasp. Jason isn’t much for physical touch, even less so now that he’s back. You don’t remember hugging him much when you were younger, perhaps you should start now.
You sigh. “I’ve missed having you around.”
The fingers digging into your shoulder fall apart.
You look up at your brother. He looks older than he should be, perhaps its the muscular build or maybe it's the tense aura he carries around him. “I did what I had to, to keep you around.”
Jason swallows, his throat bopping uncomfortably. “You killed him?”
“He died of natural causes.”
“Right…”
There’s not much of your drink left. You debate if you should open another bottle. “I’d do it again too. If I could, I’d make him squirm. I’d give you more than his eyes. I’d do it to anybody that hurt you Jay.”
Jason curls into you, pressing his face against your neck like he’s a child trying to hide from the world. He’s not crying or speaking, but you can feel the minute trembles and random full body shudders that wreck through him. He wraps his arms around your middle, his hands interconnected by your hip bone. One of your own hands is running your fingers through his hair.
It’s a long, quiet night.
The family notices Jason’s sudden closeness to you. It’d be hard not to.
He barely leaves your side for the most part. He’s around the manor more often, usually hovering a few paces behind you. He hangs out in your room a lot, giving unhelpful advice with homework and laying in your bed to watch videos together. Sometimes he drags you to the library and reads aloud to you. Other times you sit on the kitchen counter and watch him cook and help him start baking as a hobby.
Bruce doesn’t question it. He smiles brightly instead every time he sees Jason over your shoulder. He loves seeing Jason in the manor, he loves seeing his kids get along even more. Tim tried to joke about it once when you were helping Jason with a recipe. Your older brother got eerily quiet and just looked at Tim with eyes more green than blue. Tim kept his comments to himself after that, but still pops up at random moments. His flimsy excuses of wanting to take unflattering photos of you and Jason don’t convince you.
Tim must have spoken to Dick about it because in turn Dick starts coming around the manor more. He spends the night often and drives back to Bludhaven in the morning. He crashes the movie nights you and Jason plan, often inserting himself in between you guys ‘in case he got scared’. (As if anyone would get scared watching a dreamworks movie). Jason allows Dick to drag him to the gym or out for a fast food run, but at the end of the day, Jason always ends up back at your side.
Damian slowly starts hanging around you guys more often too, like a cat approaching something unknown. If you acknowledge him and try to include him, he scurries away, but if allowed to approach at his own pace, he’ll join you with no qualms. You enjoy acting like an older sibling to Damian, considering he’s the only little brother you have. You buy tickets to aquariums and museums to take him to, which Jason more often than not, tags along with.
It may have taken an unconventional act, but you managed to glue a small part of your broken family back together. And you would do it again without hesitation.

i tried!! reading yandere batfam fics is my guilty pleasure, and there's so many ones with a neglected reader, i thought 'what if the reader actually grew up loved by the batfam and saw how much being a vigilante hurts them and tries to elimate their enemies/things that hurt them'
The Wayne manor was quieter than usual, everything seemed more gloomy.
They were outside rain poured down as they stood in front of a grave. The tombstone engraved the name Y/n Wayne.
She died as Batgirl, all because they couldn't save her in time. No, because they choose to not prioritise your safety.
The guilt killed them from the inside, eating at their conscience, chipping away at it piece by piece. You died, all for a stupid drug bust, one they could have dealt with another time.
Maybe if you were looking down you'd see the tears held up in Bruce's eye's, the tears he refused to let fall until he was completely sure he was alone and even then he couldn't let himself break down completely as he held the last photo he'd ever have of you in his hand. He'd catch himself replaying the mission over and over trying to solve your death, a death that didn't need to be solved.
Alfred caught himself going to your door with food and cleaning your room waiting for you to come home. But he knew, you'd never walk through that door again and smile at him so happily.
Dick caught himself hugging the plushie you had given him as a gift once, the one he never really appreciated. Now it's the only thing that even makes him feel like you're there with him. While he smiles and comforts his family without a person willing to comfort him to way you would have.
Jason got more violent, angry, he blamed himself, if he was still there, if he didn't push you away, if he was at the drug bust like he said he would be, he could have saved you.
Tim threw himself into work, case after case, file after file he tried to forget, but every so often he'd stretch his hands out for the energy drinks you always thought to bring him, he'd open his mini fridge and see it empty and then remember you were the one who always kept it full for him, always with his favorite brands, always his favorite flavors.
Damian was angry, he didn't wanna believe you died, but somehow he'd find himself walking past your room staring at the furniture, the trinkets he told you were ridiculous that never quite moved and realise you're dead. He'll says he moved on, he'd tell everyone to move on but he always hesitates to say your name.
Barbara blamed herself, she let you take the mantle of Batgirl, she's the one who gave you, your route on the mission if she had just picked a better route or sent someone else you'd be okay.
Cass was calm and logical but her eyes always drifted to the spot next to her on the dinner table the spot you once sat, you'd tell her everything when you sat there, every secret, every moment of your life, she'd never say it out loud but she wants to hear about your day just one more time.
Stephanie played with the charm bracelet you made her that she never wore, now she couldn't take it off, as she remembered how you'd always try and talk to her, how you'd tell her everything you told Cass as if you were sisters... Family.
Duke hated himself, he wasn't even there during the drug bust, he was on an entirely different mission out of Gotham. Even so he felt responsible he had a choice to leave, he could of stayed but he didn't he thought they'd protect you but they didn't. Duke loved you, you were the little sister he always wanted. The little sister he needed.

*Crash*
Everyone in the manor could hear it, no one could miss it, the weird thing was the sound came from Y/n's room, the family ran towards it only to see something that made them all freeze in place, a portal if you could even call it that, it was glitching, and on the ground Y/n? Or atleast someone or something that looked like her covered in blood, tears swelling up in her eye's, rolling down her face as she said two words that changed everything.
"H-help me... Please"
This is my first bat family fan fiction I tried to be as character accurate as possible, not Fannon but more comic, so please forgive me for any mistakes
