One of my favorite days of the year! It’s another Valentine’s Day loving you. When we met (almost a decade ago!) I had no idea you would end up being the love of my life. I had no idea I would want to spend the rest of my life with you. I had no idea you would become my heart walking around outside of my body.

That’s really what you are to me. You’re my whole world, and I just don’t know what I would do without you. I know this Valentine’s Day looks different with you being on vacation, but that doesn’t bother me. I know you’ve had fun and you’ll be home to me soon. And I’ll be patiently waiting for you.

I don’t remember what life was like before you, and I never want to know a life without you in it. You’re it for me. I just want you to know that I love you and I would be nothing without you. You know me better than I know myself, and I know the same for you.

I never want to make these things too long, but you know my heart. You know how I feel without me even saying too much. I’m so excited to see what the rest of this year brings us. I’m excited to spend time with you. I want to watch movies, FaceTime, sleepovers, I want to hold your hand again. I want to do so many things with you.

I’m so happy to know you. I’m so happy to love you. I’m happy I’m the one by your side, and you’re by mine. I want to grow old with you, I want to die next to you. I love you more than I have the words for, but here I’ve tried. Happy Valentine’s Day my beautiful baby.

It’s the 12th again! Another month passed loving each other. I love you more than words can explain, and I’m so excited to experience the rest of my life with you. That’s all I want. You’re all I want.

I’m so lucky to have known you this long. We’ve watched each other grow and evolve, move in and move out, from finishing school to being placed out to work. We’re watching each other fork gray hairs! I’m just so excited for what the rest of time has in store for us.

And I know you’re on vacation right now and still overcoming your little cold, too. It makes me sad that you got sick, but I’m so happy you got to finally have your break away from the hospital. You being on vacation makes me think of us on vacation together. I yearn for the day I get to hold your face, kiss your lips, and look into your eyes again. You make me the happiest I’ve ever been, and I’m the best version of myself when I’m with you.

You make me giddy, and you make me smile. The happiness I feel with you is palpable. I’m so happy to have spent another anniversary on the twelfth day of the month laughing with you, my angel. You’re my world. I love you.
