I'm only 33 days (!!!) out from the pumping stages of the Newman-Goldfarb Protocol, and omg, I'm so excited, and the changes are happening fast. (After 3 months, I'm relieved to be so close to real milk!)

It recommends being on birth control and domperidone for 3-6 months before your goal milk-having date. The birth control raises your estrogen and progesterone, and the domperidone suppresses dopamine, which allows your rate of prolactin, the milk-hormone, to rise! At the end of the protocol you cold-quit the birth control (mimicking delivery) and start pumping every two hours, as though you had a baby nursing. Most people start getting milk that week!)
For whatever reason, I can't tolerate the combo pill anymore, so I've been using progesterone only BC. Now that I'm in the home stretch, I'm taking two mini-pills a day, more closely mimicking pregnancy. I'm on 50mg of domperidone, which is where I'd like to plateau, but we'll see.
