The Whole Chibiusa & Mamorou Thing...

These two have a pretty interesting relationship, but let's get the elephant out of the room first. I didn't like when Chibiusa kissed him as Black Lady either! That was weird! In all versions! Though, I do think it's pretty funny how even a mini version of Usagi had a crush on him. It was mostly a thing for Season 2 & played off as a joke later on. Though, I can't really blame her. While she always butt heads with Usagi, Mamorou was the most gentle & patient with her even when she had an attitude. As her future father, he's done a lot to make her happy & cared for. Helping her with schoolwork, taking her places she wanted to go, making sure she had a place to rest, comforting her with a Tuxedo Mask doll, giving up half his life source to save her when her Pure Heart was stolen, & encouraging her in battle alongside Usagi & the Sailor Guardians. I will admit that Usagi's constant jealously was a bit much because she should know better that Chibiusa is her future daughter & not trying to steal her future husband away. Though, Usagi, Chibiusa, & Mamorou have a handful of precious, funny, & memorable moments together that I can't get enough of. It was fun to watch them go from strangers, to protectors, to being close as a family!
