this is really bad right now (sorry) but just in case someone stumbles across here and is curious about the WIP/what i have y'alls blorbos doing, here is what i have tentatively (image description below)
in the back at the actual counter, I have my two girls Mila and Straea as bartenders!
Sitting at the bar having a meal is Koh Ta, next to Koh is Heyt who is yakking it up with Straea/perhaps exchanging intel of some kind. I have Jakk and Aayla having a date at the counter, and in the corner i have Lyyren interacting with Mila who is perhaps talking about a bounty with Lyyren.
In the back two corners I have Sykho and Ti'ad being cute together in the corner/leaning on each others shoulder at a table. I have Ina operating a jukebox/picking a song. I have Kyth'arian sort of peeking through a window, as if wanting to come in to the cantina/seeing what is happening. In the other right corner I have Tass Kar reviewing documents/being intimidating at the other table.
I currently have Cy and Dektaris having a dance-off, I saw Dektaris loves messing w/ people and Cy is full of themselves, so I thought that would be a good interaction with the two sizing each other up/challenging each other and having a good time LOL.
Over sort of near the front I have Xira on the way out reading a datapad, and I'm not sure where I'm going to put Nine specifically but I want Nine to be judging everyone somehow LOL (ex. look at all these fools)
I have Val, Rheya, Adaava and Mera all around a dejarik match and will be having a variety of reactions/etc to the gameboard. Thi Kerel is on the way over to hopefully join in.
On the right bottom corner I have Kzeiyauk and Damste entering the cantina.
I'm also going to have Anetha striding around in disguise as a server/trying to spy on someone (likely Tass Kar).
I have Grim and Serina on the right having a conversation of some kind. Sera is also near the front sort of overlooking the scene/judging folks, I may change that. K'haari is also near the front/cheering on the dance battle.
These are all super tentative, so I really hope this works out :"D I tried really hard to have characters doing things which hopefully wouldn't be out of character, ill probably still make changes but here's where I'm at atm! I wont tag everyone on this, but hello if you see this haha
edit: also fyi. there is no alcohol/etc in this, only food LOL. i say bar loosely but this is more so restaurant (and think like, ppl sitting up at the counter for a quick meal or smth lol)
