Represas dos moinhos / Mill Dams Todos os rios do norte de Portugal tem represas que encaminhavam a força dos rios para os moinhos. Era a força dos rios que faziam os moinhos moer cereal e, mais tarde, alimentar os teares de onde se fabricava os melhores tecidos portugueses. Hoje, apesar dos moinhos serem apenas atração turistica, estas represas apresentam os cenários ideias para os banhistas do rio se deliciarem em banhos, e onde os pescadores captaram os melhores peixes da pesca desportiva. E vocês, conhecem estas represas centenárias? _______ All rivers in northern Portugal have dams that channeled the power from the rivers to the mills. It was the power of the rivers that made the mills grind cereal and, later, feed the looms from which the best Portuguese fabrics were made. Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar / Monastery of Serra do Pilar "O mosteiro é considerado um dos mais notáveis edifícios da arquitetura clássica europeia devido ao seu excepcional valor arquitetónico e ao caráter singular da sua igreja e do seu claustro, ambos circulares e com a mesma dimensão.
