'Metroid: Zero Mission'
[GBA] [GERMANY] [MAGAZINE] [2004]
"This martialische Odyssey delights both eye and ear with a technically polished presentation that frequently calls to mind the opulent production values of Samus Aran’s SNES adventure. Meticulous details—such as tiny beetles crawling up the Iron Lady or the superbly remastered sound effects from the NES original—leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The story is advanced through infrequent anime sequences that feature minimal dialogue but an abundance of atmosphere. Unfortunately, the game’s runtime is rather brief: you will have completed the normal mode in just three hours. Unlockable goodies—such as a third difficulty setting or the original NES version—invite multiple playthroughs, though the level design itself remains unchanged." ~Max Wildgruber, MAN!AC (#127, May 2004) [BMT🤖]

Holy fucking shit, trans children can just die in a school shooting because apparently it's very important that we split shelter by gender and exclude all trans people.
At least it was just a drill, but holy fuck how are you an adult in this situation and genuinely think it's better to leave a child out in the open than have her enter the girl's locker room for shelter from a school shooter?!!!

Call Of Duty: The Haunting
A fake magazine ad for Utopia Must Fall! A city defense arcade style shooter with such an amazing style. This is one of my favourite games to just put on when I have a spare half hour and I almost always end up spending much longer on it. It absolutely deserves more love so go check it out if you haven’t! It’s still in early access but well worth it’s current asking price!
