Luo Wenzhou spent multiple times in the book wondering what Fei Du was thinking when he shielded him from the bomb and he didn't get the answer right away (or at least Fei Du didn't answer it immediately)

The privilege we have as a reader in Mo Du is that we know what was in Fei Du's mind during that moment and that is nothing. he thinks of nothing at that moment and just reacts instinctively to protect Luo Wenzhou.

I think Fei Du answers enough when he said 'Yes, I care for you' and i wonder if Luo Wenzhou will ever think about that moment ever again but i guess that answer is also enough for him.
