I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.
As well as Sims, Cmar loved cats, and donations are suggested to the ASPCA, the TinyKittens Society, or an animal-related charity near you.

Yadira Bell grew up on the rough side of Adoria. Due to her parents dying when she was young, she learned to survive in orphanages. If she ever wanted her memory to be wiped, it would include her time in the Kindred Hearts Orphanage. At the age of 10, she was “adopted” by Mr. Z, aka the Shopkeeper. Mr. X seeks out young boys and girls to train them to become the best assassins in the kingdom. By 12, she learns how to kill a man with three hundred different poisons. 15, she killed her first target and felt no remorse. She spent years spying, killing, and getting close to her targets. She believes she is doing the kingdom a favor by getting rid of these targets. Of course, the Shopkeeper doesn’t tell her everything. Besides the fact that she is one of his best students. Now, she is working at the Broken Demons Pub, trying to find information on her next target. Someone apart of the royal family, the Leclaire. Yet the Leclaires are from the rival kingdom of Adoria known as Seocia (a kingdom known for thrift famous mages). Will Yadira become distracted on her mission, or will killing always be her main focus?

She lost a bit of her humanity…but maybe someone was able to bring back the old Yadira?

Wren Ellison lived in Oasis Springs all of her life. Yet, she always traveled to visit her grandparents in Del Sol Valley. Look, I love y'all. I know you don't want to participate in so-called "drama" because you think it's messy and shit. I get that, I do. But here's the deal. Cowbuild and her cronies are making the whole patreon method of dealing with the sims look bad, and that affects YOU guys too.
Because of these bad apples, there are some people questioning if patreon is safe. Especially because Anto is involved, and he USED TO BE EARLY ACCESS.
You guys need to join in on calling this out and saying "No. This is not okay. We do not accept it, and we do not want this to be part of our community."
I and others have tried to explain that these bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch, but when y'all choose to be silent on the issue, you don't help your case. So now is the time to speak up. You don't have to make your own post even. Just REBLOGGING what's already been shared is enough.

Today is that bad day I woke up in the morning with the sound of exploding projectiles and knew that my native town Kherson was attacted by russian army. There is no food and water at the supermarkets, most of the people are leaving the town, panic is spreading everywhere and ATMs are empty.
I see lots of people all over the world go to rallies and it’s that we need the most now. Also I hope everything will be okey and I will see this world tommorow morning but the situation is really dangerous now for every person that lives in such towns as Kherson, Odessa, Kyiv, Kharkiv and lots of villages near by.

Tutorial: How to add a name tag to your CAS items, taking advantage of the Birthday Update UI elements!
I suggest looking at the post on the dashboard rather than on my website for bigger pictures
As you might know, a while back The Sims 4 recieved a birthday update with a few CC items from awesome creators put into the actual game. These items have a special tag that allows them to have a mouse-hover name tag.
Can anyone use this tag? At first i thought you couldn't cause it might've been hard coded, but actually it isn't! I'm gonna go through some steps to enable it on your items as well.
STEPS 1 - 3:
1: Open your CAS item .package file into Sims4Studio, click on the warehouse tab;
2: Look for your package file's CAS Part resource;
3: Inside CAS Part, look for the "tags" field;
STEPS 4 - 5:
4: Click on the "add" button and select CATEGORY: SpecialContent - TAGVALUE: SpecialContent_Anniversay21
5: Click on the "add" button and select CATEGORY: Style - TAGVALUE: Style_CAS_Branded_Anniversay21
We have now enabled the possibility for the asset to display a Name Tag. Now, how do we give it a string and customize what it says?
We are going to clone an object, whatever object, and utilize their strings to have a uniquely numbered string table that won't conflict with any EA or other CC item's strings.
STEPS 6 - 7:
6: Clone an object, it can be whatever object, i usually clone a tooth brush decor item and call the package "dummy" and stick it on the desktop;
7: Go into the studio tab and change the Catalog Name as if you were renaming your object normally, but instead type in your name or whatever you want the CAS item to display. For the purpose of this tutorial, i wrote "YOUR NAME HERE";
STEPS 8 - 10:
8: Go into the warehouse tab of your Dummy object and select all the String Tables, all of them;
9: Now click on batch export and save them in a folder somewhere;
10: Now, go into your CAS Item package and click on warehouse. Now, click on Batch Import and select
STEPS 11 - 12:
11: Click on one of the string table resources and then, click on the "Text" tab (by default it will show the "data" tab) and copy the "KEY" value of the string that shows what you typed;
12: Click on the CAS Part resource and look for the "PART DESCRIPTION KEY" field, and paste the value you copied earlier into it.
Now save, and test in game:
If it worked, hovering over your item should show a name tag, just like that!
I had this idea for a while to do this big thing where I post a posepack a day for a week and I finally had time to do it. While not every pack is completed (I still have to make some), I figured this is the best time to start advertising it because there's only a few days left until it starts and most of them are completed.
If everything goes according to my plan (and I will feel extremely bad if it doesn't), one pack will be posted a day from Sunday-Saturday August 15-21 at 12 pm EDT.
What will I get?:
one-two posepacks a day (depending on if they're relevant to each other and how many I end up making)
all the poses shown in the preview photo, including others not shown

on my tumblr, the tumblr post will have a link to simsfileshare and my patreon, ALL POSES ARE FREE WITH NO EARLY ACCESS
