hey guys so recently ive been threatened with homelessness (so fun😍😍) , and i spent a lot of money on things like storage and moving vans and the like, to the point where i embarrassingly dont have enough for the rest of the month to buy things like groceries for me and my mum.

i really hate doing this because i feel guilty and embarrassed for clogging up ur dashes but i could really do with the help, any help tbh. if you can, please help me out, it would be much appreciated

I don't usually do stuff like this on this blog, but this is very, very personal to me. One of my very best friends in the world lost pretty much everything in a devastating fire last week, and I have some reach on here, so I thought maybe I could try to do something to help.

The fire destroyed the entire condo building where they live, and pretty much the only things anyone in his family has left is what was on their backs or in their pockets when the fire started. They're starting from scratch, and my friend is the only person in the household of 4 who is currently able to work. (He has a job, but it doesn't pay great, though he's working on applying to others.)

To make things worse, the family member he was staying with kicked him out after only 3 days. He's currently staying with a mutual friend, but they can't help out for more than a month or two. His grandmother and brother are with another family member. But his dad is staying in a hotel right now, which can't be afforded forever, so they really need to find a more permanent place to stay.

On top of clothing, food, and paying for a place to stay, he's also in need of a new (well, used, but new to him) car, so he can reliably get to and from work.

I know the world is shit right now, and there's a lot of people needing help, but it would mean a lot if you guys could at least spread this around.
