When I have enough free time on my hands, I take sickfic requests! Below you can find all the details about requesting a fic from me, and my general rules on what type of fic I'm comfortable writing!

You can request a specific scenario or sickfic prompt you'd like me write. (The more detailed the prompt, the more fun!) Right now I only write for Genshin Impact, and only specific characters and ships who I enjoy writing for. Namely;

Kazuha/Gorou, Heizou, Cyno/Tighnari, Sethos/Wanderer, Albedo/Aether, Lumine/Lyney, Kinich/Mualani, Gaming, Durin, and Flins (I'm also considering Ifa/Ororon, but I've yet to get a feel for writing them, so they're a maybe right now) If there's a character you'd like me to write who's not on the list, send me an ask and I'll see how I feel about them!

You can request a fic in the canon universe of Genshin, and there's a chance I will write it, but understand that modern aus are my bread and butter, so I'm much more likely to accept requests for my Modern AU series!

As I write primarily sickfics, I'm down to write almost any symptoms; from headaches and fevers, to vomiting and diarrhea. Sometimes I will be a bit descriptive when I write vomiting, so if you want me to be more vague (or specifically want me to be descriptive) just add that in your request!

I will not write anything sexual, and I will not write anything involving death, terminal illnesses, or detailed medical procedures.

If there's something you're absolutely dying for me to write and you want a 100% guarantee that I'll write it, you can pair your request with a tip on my Ko-Fi! (For absolutely any price) Please know this is absolutely not necessary, and I don't expect anybody to donate anything. I simply decided to add this because things are financially tight, and an extra cent here or there will really help me out. But do not feel obligated at all! There is no paywall for any of my content, I just do this for fun! (I also only added the 100% guarantee on a request, so those who do choose ro support me can get a little something out of it!)

hihi i’m new to this blog unsure if you’ve already said but are you planning on continuing summer holliday? love it sm. love your work!!

I am! Sorry it's taken me a while, I've been working on different projects which hogged a lot of my writing motivation (on top of dealing with some health things that's in general just dulled my excitement for writing sickfics)

But I absolutely plan on finishing each and every one of my unfinished fics, and Summer Holiday is at the top of that list!

AHH That makes me so happy to hear!! I have been truly abysmal about posting, oh man. I'll definitely try to do a few prompts from Sicktember this year to try and make up for my absence!!

More ramblings beneath the cut about where I've been, etc. etc.

Y'all are probably exhausted of hearing me apologize for disappearing off the face of the earth, but yeah. I'm sorry. I do feel really bad. It's why I've been so quiet, because as per usual, I feel ashamed for not having content, so I hide away from tumblr. Which isn't really an excuse.

As for why I haven't been writing, well, I got pretty burnt out on my big project, so I've in general been taking a break from writing. I honestly thought coming back to sickfics would be a good way to get my mind off my big project for a while, and it's made me realise something.

I don't get as much joy from standalone sickfics as I used to? I still adore reading them, but writing them hasn't hit the same. I'm more drawn to writing big fics with occasional sickfic elements.

It could be that I've just exhausted the craft of sickfic oneshots over the course of my time here. Or, one of the things I think might have an influence on this, is the fact that my own health has been kind of rocky (this isn't anything to be concerned about! A chronic condition that I've always lived with, I've just been dealing with it more the last year.)

And when I'm personally not feeling well, it somewhat sucks the joy out of writing the characters not feeling well. I don't know, it's hard to explain!

I still love sickfics, I enjoy reading them and talking about them a bunch! The pull to write them just isn't what it used to be, as much as that fact breaks my heart.

I'm not going anywhere though! I know I don't have a lot of active followers left, but I'm still here for those who have stuck around and I'm not going to entirely stop writing for you guys!

Absolutely, criminally underrated: “dock rock” or land sickness.

While seemingly a bit rarer than seasickness, many people report feeling dizzy, off-balance, and nauseous for a few days following getting off a boat that you’ve been on for an extended period of time.

Have an OC that gets seasick, but gains their sea legs fairly quickly? Hit them with that land sickness once they disembark. Their vestibular system hates the transition period, both ways, and it knocks them flat on their ass again even though they had finally felt better.

Have an OC that gets seasick the whole damn time, and struggles to ever get sea legs? Sorry, the nausea follows them even once they’re back on land like they had so desperately wanted. A never-ending bad reaction. “Ugh… I thought I was free of this.”

Have an OC that doesn’t get seasick? Congrats—this is real—people who do not get seasick can get land sick. It can seriously happen. They feel fine, untouchable even, and then once they step off that boat they’re incapacitated laying in bed begging for the dizziness to stop.

This actually brings me so much joy because I'm a Varka/Flins shipper and I was definitely feeling like I'm in the minority!

Absolutely nothing against shipping him with Illuga btw, they're adorable!! But I feel like I don't know enough about Illuga to fully appreciate his character! And I'll be honest I was sold on Varka/Flins before Illuga was even released

I've been writing! It's going slow, because life. But I'm working on my first ever official Wanderer sickfic! Since I feel bad for being so slow, I leave you all with a snippet from today's writing session

"Get off my case, will you?”

"Okay, okay.” Exasperated, Sethos turned to face him. Immediately he raised his eyebrows. "Man, I know you don't get a lot of sun, but you are pale this morning. You good?”

"I'm fine."

Sethos stared at him for a moment, not looking fully convinced. "I'm not kidding, actually. You're white as a sheet.”

"I said I'm fine.” And I'm going to knock your teeth in if you pester me any further.

Sethos still looked skeptical. Before he had a chance to think about asking any more questions, Wanderer turned to leave. "I have an early class. I'm leaving.”

"Oh, okay. Have a good day then!” Sethos called after him. There was still a tone of uncertainty to his voice.

Wanderer snatched his bag off the livingroom floor where he must've dumped it the day before, swung it over his shoulder, and stepped outside.

The fresh air felt good on his sweaty face, and actually made him feel marginally better. He took a moment to lean with his back against the front door, relishing in feeling the cool early morning breeze in his hair. It made him realise he forgot to put on the hat he was fond of wearing, but he wasn't about to double back and get it, lest Sethos starts badgering him again.

Summer Holiday — Chapter 5

Sickfic requests NOW OPEN!!

I finished the next chapter of Summer Holiday, and just need to edit it now, so as promised, I'm opening up requests for a while! How long they stay open will depend on how many come in.

I'm especially eager to write some new characters, since I've been primarily working on Summer Holiday! So I'm extra appreciative of requests for characters other than Cynonari and Haikaveh! (Those are still accepted, just not preferable)

You can request fleshed out scenarios or simple prompts! (The more fleshed out the request, the more likely I am to write it! I don't mind them, but giving me requests like "Write X character sick!" doesn't spark a whole lot of inspiration!)

Know that there's always a chance I will reject requests, if they just aren't my cup of tea or I simply can't get inspired for it. But I'll do my best!

Helloooo you're alive again and so am I! (I still haven't drawn anything yet though) I was just curious, what are your head canons for Wanderer like, in the college AU in general and when he's sick. He's one of my favorite characters followed by Kaveh and Itto and I'm so excited to read something about him in your fics!

Yay for being alive!! I'm a couple of days late answering this, sorry about that, but let's dive right in!

WANDERER! Such an interesting character, and one I haven't actually written in a long, long time (which is honestly a crime on my part, I must fix this and write him)

Y'know, I'm going to have to think a lot about where he fits in! In my head right now he's unwilling roommates with Sethos — Think, had a fall out with his old group of friends (to kind of represent the part of his life with the fatui in canon). He saw somebody online in the right area asking for a roommate, rent was decent, and snatched up the opportunity. Cue him and Sethos living together as complete strangers to each other.

This isn't set in concrete, this is just my current vague idea for where his puzzle piece will fit into the modern au — I'm very much open to feedback and suggestions!

As for sickfic specific headcanons, I definitely imagine him as a very difficult person when he's sick (I mean he can be pretty difficult to get along with on a good day, so it's a million times worse when he doesn't feel well.)

Walls completely up, shuts himself away. He refuses to show weakness, so he won't let anybody know, he just wants to retreat into the shadows to lick his wounds in peace.

I also imagine him to have one hell of an immune system. He never gets sick. So when he does get sick, he honestly isn't sure what's going on or what to expect from his body, so that just makes him even more angry at everything and everybody around him.

Oh, he's going to be a really fun character to write eventually...

While we're on the topic, what should he be referred to in the modern au? I generally think of him as Wanderer and call him that, but I'm not sure if it'd be better to give him a solid name for this au? Would his roommate and friends and other students just call him Wanderer? Or, oh boy, Hat Guy? I need to figure this out

Are they a couple yet? Do they still need to figure out they have a thing for each other? Maybe 👀 Y'all know I love writing character arcs, and I haven't had a good arc to write since wrapping up Heizou's housing crisis!

Next up; Durin!

Durin is Albedo's brother, who's quite a bit younger than Albedo and Aether (I am still writing him as a character over the age of 18!). In this AU he used to live far away, but only recently moved closer to Albedo and Aether, mainly to start university. I am SO excited to write him in this AU, I already have an idea for where Aether gets to meet him for the first time.

Thirdly; Kinich!

Kinich already have one sickfic in the series, and I'm building off of that! He lives in an apartment complex along with a couple others from the Natlan cast (Mualani, Ifa, Ororon, Chasca, Varesa, etc.) Mualani lives right next to him, and they're childhood best friends (mayhaps with that friendship blossoming into more?) 👀 He also has Ajaw — who in this AU, exists in the form of a very grumpy cat. Ifa and Ororon might actually get on the characters-I-write-for list too in the future, I just need to get a feel for writing them first and see if I enjoy writing them-

Then there's also Gaming and Flins, two characters I'm dying to write for, (especially Gaming, he's one of my actual favourite characters in the game) but I don't yet know where and how either of them will fit into the modern au. I quite like the Nod-Krai cast, but I will say I was never that attached to that many Liyue characters, so I'm especially unsure about which characters I'd write alongside Gaming. If anybody has any ideas, I'd love to here them!

In fact, I'd love to hear what y'all think about what I have laid out here! I'm itching to yap to these guys!

I personally have written Aether with him! I think other options are Freminet (for reasons I am not aware of, but have seen consistently), Lan Yan whom I know nothing about and don't personally have, Yip Tak I think his name was- his dad, Chongyun might be fun, honestly just go wild. I think it'd be cool to just see him interact with characters we've never seen him with.

Aether and Lumine are always easy choices, that's true! And I do love Gaming's interactions with the Traveler! Also Freminet is definitely interesting, I also don't know where the combination of Gaming and Fremi came from, but I can see them having a super interesting relationship dynamic. The outgoing performer of anextrovert and the most introverted introvert in existence.

Lan Yan I actually considered!! There's been so little of her in game, it's hard to get a feel for her character, which does suck. But I remember seeing the way Gaming looked at her in last year's lantern rite and thinking "I ship it" so I might have to look into her!

And I'll DEFINITELY be considering Ifa and Ororon, they're such fun characters and I just love them.

AN AFRICAN GREY PARROT FOR AJAW IS PERFECT!! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!! Oh I love that so much, yes. Over here he's just a hissy cat who will wake Kinich up before dawn for food just for the sake of being a brat

Since I believe it got buried in the other post, I want to announce the new characters I'm adding to my list of characters-I-write-for, for 2026!

Kinich, Mualani, Flins, Durin, Gaming, Wanderer, and Sethos!

Kinich, Flins, Durin, Gaming, and Sethos are all characters I very much brainrot over. Wanderer and Mualani are automatically getting dragged into the line of fire because I ship them with Sethos and Kinich.

I already have an idea for how Durin, Kinich and Mualani, and Sethos and Wanderer, fit into the modern au series (anybody want me to yap about it in another post?) but admittedly I have no clue where Flins and Gaming will come in, so they'll probably only get canon universe fics for now unless inspiration strikes.

Anyway I was just excited to announce them officially and hear what people think, hehe
