If she did, I’m sure she would be proud. It brings up unsettled anger over the massacre of Satir’sa and the destruction of Vulcan. V’tosh Ka’tur are nearly extinct and so are Vulcans. Instead, she takes a deep breath and only one comment leaves her lips.}

( Jane merely shakes her head. in duration of her captaincy, she's achieved more than she's been expected to, and she doesn't need to prove herself on those terms -- she's died for her crew, died for T'Venna, and has since steered them away from any situations that could be detrimental to her crew or her starship. the fact of the matter is, she's purposely riling up the defensive nonnative because she likes the reaction, and she'll be as insolent and uncouth as she needs to be in order to ascertain what she wants. )
