hello i’m echo (i played nate, the louis fc the last time this rp was around and i’m hella excited to see it back) and this is my trash muse daniel
his background is far too complicated and messy for a short intro post, but hopefully i’ll get a bio written and posted soon. to sum up though (if i can omg)
his mom was an alcoholic and when daniel was 13 he came home from school to find her dead :(
he was put into the foster care system which was hell omg, the first one was a family of religious nutters, like they’d punish him for stuff by locking him in a small closet or brand him and shit yikES. eventually he spoke up about the abuse though and got a new foster family who were super nice. he was so messed up from his mom’s death and everything though and was acting out so they gave up on him eventually which he was really sad about because he liked them. his third fam is the one he still has now. they’re rich snobs but treat him alright.
they’re biphobic though and when he came out as bisexual a few years ago (he’s known for a while but after telling the first religious nuthead fam, he kept it to himself for some time) they were def anything but supportive. so they made a deal with him that they’d pay for him going to college if he ‘acted’ straight whenever he came home for holidays and such
he suffers from anxiety and after having gotten benzodiazepines prescriped for a while, he’s developed an addiction
to pay for his drug addiction, he also deals and he partly chose sigma pi in hopes of selling a lot to the stoners in the frat
his addiction is technically a secret to everyone but obviously people can have suspicions due to symptoms and him dealing (your muse can know that he deals but it’s on the downlow so preferably only if they would be potential customers or friends with such)
he boxes (because boxer harry) and is in the lgbt support group and he studies criminal psychology because that’s my dream major that i can never get rip.
he has an incredibly conflicted relationship to religion as he grew up as a catholic but the abuse in his first home has fucked up his faith so he prefers for people to not ask about his religion though he usually carries a necklace with a cross that he got from his mom
due to having had mostly shitty relationships and people abandoning him, he’s not too fond of getting close to people. he acts like a dick if anyone tries to be his friend and he prefers casual sex. he’s had a few relationships but they were pretty toxic tbh
due to his mother’s alcohol abuse he doesn’t drink
he will lit claw your eyes out if you call him dan or danny. (could be fun if your character doesn’t like him though)
