Dream is so special. To me, of course, but also just in general. In just three years, look how far he’s come. Look at what he’s built, what he’s laid foundations for. He’s done so much, grown so much.

Dream is just one person, but at the same time, he’s so much more. He’s a gamer, a writer, a singer, a friend. He’s hardships and self-discovery, determination and growth. He’s courage and compassion and childhood wonder and fun. He’s 24 years of stories shared with the world, and he’s millions more carried in his heart. He’s all the love he gives to the world and all the love he is given in return.

He’s changed the world—he’s changed lives—and he continues to do so literally everyday. He encourages people of all ages to have fun and reach for their dreams. He reminds us that there’s no better meaning or purpose to life than living and finding what makes us happy. That was always his goal, “to make as many people in the world happy.” Nearly 32 million people later, he’s certainly well on his way.

He’s larger than life, but he’s still just a guy. He’s a part of each of our lives just as we are part of his. It’s taken him lots of hard work and perseverance to get where he is today, because it most definitely no easy feat. Everything he’s done and everything he’s lived through has led him to where he is now, and something about that just feels so special
