Derek walked up the stairs of the apartment block slowly, thinking about going down and forgetting all about what he was doing now. It was stupid, or he thought it was, that he was meeting someone he knew through James. Honestly, he didn’t trust James half the time he said something, but he hated when his twin pouted for something. So he agreed, and here he was. Walking up to the door of the guy “Declan“‘s apartment.

He found the apartment that Declan owned, and rapped on the door hard, hearing it echo through the hallway he was in. No response. He tried again, and still there was no response. Derek went to try a third time, but he was sick of the sound of his knuckles on the wood. He was sick of getting James begging for him to things, and he was going to pay as soon as he got back home. He swiftly turned on his heel and went to walk back down the stairs. But he almost ran into someone along the way.

"Watch where you’re going," Derek scowled, frustration lacing his tone, "I’ve got places to be." Little did he know he was standing right in front of the "Declan" he was looking for.

Declan was upset with himself for taking on his friend's shift. He didn't like to be late for anything and he hadn't realized at the time that taking up his shift, meant exactly that. Now did he really trust Spencer with setting him up on dates? No. Not at all. But he'd promised to go just this once and he wasn't exactly seeing anybody so what harm would it do right?

Once he punched out, he immediately rushed out to his car and tried his hardest to get home. Damn traffic only made him even more late. He got out and rushed up to his apartment to at least try to get ready but once he glanced at his watch, he realized that he was lucky if he got in the apartment before the other got there.

He blinked and looked up at the other. "Sorry..." He squeaked before realizing that this was the picture that Spencer had shown him. "Oh!" He said suddenly at the realization then frowned at his comment about having somewhere to be. He grinned slightly. "Hot date?" He asked playfully.

Ezra comes back from his last class for that day. Remy had said something about sleeping in, since all his classes had been cancelled, including the one they shared. Not having that class with Remy throws his day off, he needs to see him but he can’t until later in the afternoon.

So when he gets home— it’s been snowing outside, not too much of it, but it’s mostly wind. It’s freezing cold, and Ezra hurries home, hurries into their dorm and shuts the door quietly, since he knows Remy might still be sleeping or taking a nap. He shimmies out of his winter coat, boots, jeans, four layers of sweaters and long sleeved shirts.

Then he catapaults into bed with Remy, their full sized bed—since Remy’s father paid for the biggest suite in the dormitory. He shuffles under the covers, shivering and shaking from the cold, but he sighs once he meets with Remy’s warm body. He buries his cold nose in Remy’s burning hot neck, presses his numb toes into the bottom of Remy’s foot and the rest of his body just melts into him, his crotch against Remy’s bottom, thighs against Remy’s thighs.

And all of a sudden he’s warm inside out, because now they’re sharing body heat, and when Remy groans from the cold Ezra decides he’ll never be more in love with somebody than he is with Remy Escar, and he’s perfectly okay with that.
