[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah, that sure sounds like you alright." He beamed, a small chuckle after the words. Masako was always so professional, even when she wasn't trying to be, maybe it was just something that she had gotten used to over time.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Always so professional, even when you don't have to be." He very lightly teased, all in good fun.
Minato recalled in her show's intro, she mentions that her powers came to her at a young age, the exact age of course wasn't revealed, there were some aspects that needed to remain private, especially something like that. Noting that, considering how her aunt was practically obsessed with making sure Masako was professional and proper at all times.
Honestly, to Minato, sometimes it felt like her aunt only saw money in her eyes once her powers manifested into being, he didn't know her aunt personally, but from the little bits about her that she had told him about her aunt, it wasn't very hard to guess what kind of person her aunt was, anyone who would use something as precious as a spiritual gift for the sole purpose of making a profit, absolutely disgusted him.
It reminded him of all those fake Ghost Hunters that faked evidence for the very same reason. Both were equally scummy, it was upsetting how some people in the world were. At least there were some people out there who actually respected the profession, just like Minato and Masako did. With that in mind, it did make it feel a bit better. Anyone who faked it to make it was a disgrace in his eyes, they soiled the landscape of the Paranormal Community.
Thankfully, over the years, the Paranormal Community had managed to come together and weed out all the fakers that tarnished the many other experts out there who actually had a passion for this line of work. A glowing desire to show the world that there was in fact, some type of life after death, for others, to gain a sense of peace and closure, especially if it is a spirit of a loved one to the client, it was those parts of investigations that was one of his favorite things to see.
Seeing the nod, he gave her one of his own. Minato knew that Masako would never hesitate to let him know if she ever had a negative energy or being negatively affecting her. Any medium on his show would be well protected and looked after by Minato and his crew, that much was a given. Although when it came to Masako, she was given extra special treatment because he knew her personally--in fact, Masako Hara, had become someone far more special than she would ever know, he just didn't know if she felt the same--not to mention the risks of the very obvious fact, even so, he didn't care about them.
For now, he would play it safe and just see where things go, should they even go that type of direction, only time would tell. At the very least, they both had a special bond with each other, that much was clear, and did provide him a glimpse of what could be, he wasn't going to get his hopes up just yet though.
When he spoke about his haunted museum, he saw the spark of interest in her gray hues, a hint of curiosity too, since he did manage to acquire some pretty hard to find haunted rarities, and quite a few o them did take a bit of convincing, but once he assured each previous owner that he would handle the objects with care and caution, making sure no one would become seriously affected by them, he managed to make them agree to sell to him, and Minato had indeed did his part to honor those words.
[{ 🦋 }] - "It wasn't easy, especially for Peggy The Doll and The Devil's Rocking Chair. Since both have the ability and energy to heavily affect some people, they took a lot of convincing. I had to promise the owners that I would never underestimate the power and energy of these two objects, and make sure that no one becomes that badly affected when visiting their rooms. Thankfully, each owner knew who I was, which did help a little bit."
Minato explained, devouring the rest of his food with one comically large bite, and now all his food was finished, now he was able to spend the rest of his day here with her relaxing.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah, of course you're welcome to come and check it out. You won't need to worry about it being too overwhelming though, me and the guys put up several protective charms all around each of my most dangerous displays, made sure to keep my promise to the previous owners, I also just don't want any of my museum guests to get super heavily affected either." He said, putting his stack of empty plates neatly on the trolley.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Whenever you do have the time to come and visit, let me know through a text or phone call, then I'll make time to personally give you a grand tour." He offered, giving her his usual bright smile.
Tomorrow they might be going their separate ways once again, as sad as it was, the both of them at least had his museum to look forward to, whenever her schedule would finally clear up enough anyway. Minato didn't really wanna say goodbye to her, for now, he would just make sure to enjoy every little moment he had with her before and during the investigation.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah.... SPR sure is lucky to have you on their team so often..."
A sigh, but he's alright, or at least, as fine as he's going to be, still, it really was a shame, but what could she do? She had already told them she would be there. He only hoped they would see each other again sooner this time rather than later on in the year. Busy schedules majorly sucked. SPR was pretty lucky she was so devoted to them, he couldn't help but be a little jealous, but he wouldn't let her see that, and cover it up, just like he always did.
("Man...I really wish we had more time together, we only get to see each other once in a blue moon.") He quietly thought to himself.
For the first time today, the sadness was clearly painted on his face, but once he finally saw her looking back at him again, he was quick to replace the frown with one of his best fake smiles, unsure if she had caught a full enough glance at him to notice his defeated expression, different from his usual cheerful calm demeanor.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah....me too." Not wanting to keep the mood depressing, he was quick to change the subject, fake smile painted on his lips to counter the sad, he shifts his attention to his box of snack bags, and stood up from the bed and walked over to the box, turning back to meet her gaz again.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Anyway, while it's still bright out, how about we try looking for a snack bag now? I betcha I can find one that matches your current Kimono that you're wearing right now?" He says, deciding to make the search for a snack bag a bit more fun, as well as a way to lighten the dampened mood.
