*stabs in the eye* oops my finger slipped

He had no sudden warnings and suddenly a sharp burning pain stuck in his eyes and he let out a painful cry. Dropping to his knees he held the object there and shuddered in pain “g’ah..!” he heard a familiar voice but pushed it aside as he snapped and eye shut, pulling out the shard of glass.

"Fuck!!" he growled and looked to Marco holding the wound "w-what… the hell.. no.. you-" he took a step back, a palm grasping the wall nearest to his form. He needed to get to safety. He HAD to.

Wasn’t Marco dead? He had to be.. those bones.. the bodies. He started to stumble, his hand clasped over the injured eye still, knowing well this would throw him out of the scouts for sure.

Infirmary. He needed this badly. This had to be a bad dream.

"…" he just listened to him, what words could he say now? He felt Marco’s pain, but at the same time, why this way? "Marco… I was alone, still alone. You were really.. the only person who was there for me.." he muttered, loosing consciousness "Sorry.. that I wasn’t there for you." he rolled onto his opposite side. No, he can’t let go, he made it this far, he couldn’t give up now "-I don’t know what made you want to hurt others.. since you don’t like being hurt… but for whatever reason, this wasn’t the fucking answer!" he snapped awake again and got to his knees "You were right once, I was weak, so I cherish every moment to live, to fight for it..!" He huffed, feeling as though he could faint. Hell, he didn’t want to know what his face looked like, specially his eye now… if he had one there.

He felt bad... He felt bad that he had hurt his bad but also good that he had caused someone pain. He had to cause others pain just so they could feel how he felt when he was left behind by them all "Then why didn't you stay?! We could've hid together."

He kept his eye shut, “I.. found your body though.. Annie.. she.. took your gear..” he gripped his hair now in total confusion “Dammit! I wouldn’t you on purpose Marco! You are my fucking best friend!” he snapped and god, he was getting dizzy. Too much was running through his mind, specifically that day, over and over again.

Marco was shocked, he didn't exactly realize that Annie took his gear. He ran a hand through his hair "Jean, do you know what its like to be left behind?" He thought he'll know this answer to the question but he wanted to ask either way. "Being left behind... It feels like someone stabs you in the heart like a thousand fucking times."

The shock of seeing Marco’s tear had him speaking “Marco, Wait I-” but then he suddenly felt the kick to his gut and hunched over onto his side, curling into a ball and coughing “didn’t… leave you..” he had his eyes closed and just held his stomach, “you… were…dead.. Marco.. I..”he was so confused, so lost in all this now.

"You did leave me!" His cries came out stuttered as he choked on his tears. "I survived that battle. But I stayed in hiding for a bit."

"W-what.. was the for..? Why Marco?" He muttered mostly to himself after finding out the door was locked. Was he going to kill him? He looked to Marco with the one eye he had, pressing his back to the door and sliding down onto his butt and staring. Great, now what the hell was he suppose to do? He pulled his hand away seeing all the blood running down his palm and wrist, from where his eye was "fuck.."

The one eyed male tightened his fists "That's for leaving me on my own!" He shouted as tears started to burst through his one visible eye. He wiped his eye before kicking Jean in the gut.

His small lips curved into a smile as he watched the male in front of him go down in agony "Surprise, bitch" His hand went to touch his eye patch that was placed on his face. "Bet you thought you seen the last of me" His lips went into a frown as he looked down at his friend, not bothering to help him nor get him any first aid on his injury.
