I don’t know if anyone’s asked the question before, but in Legacy, it’s established that Clu sent that page to Alan, and not Flynn. Alan told Sam about it yeah, but the page was intended for Alan. So what if Alan got into the grid instead? How the hell would that go down when he meets Rinzler/Tron? How would Rinzler/Tron react to that, his very User? If seeing Kevin Flynn was enough to make Tron break free, what the hell would seeing Alan cause?
