Trying on the new wig was unnecessarily high on my priority list of things to do when home.

Maybe too red? Too voluminous? Too short? Styled too wavy by default definitely? Nevertheless. It will have to do to complete my mages. Just add water for instant noodle.

A soft laugh, more air than sound, fled his throat as his shoulders collided with the wall and the gap between them shrank drastically in the same second. Tipping his head back to allow the airy sound to fly into the air rather than into his lover’s face, Paulecrain reached out and placed a hand on Grinnaux’s hip the draw him in and another on the back of his neck to hold him there. The motion bared his throat and he felt the gentle scrape of teeth along his jaw, impatient and wanting.

“A week,” Paulecrain insisted, sliding his hand up to tangle it in the hair at the back of Grinnaux’s head. “Less if I am permitted to expedite the process.”

He felt the teeth that had been working the side of his neck drift up to his ear and catch it between them and his eye flew shut, a quiet, rusty sound of approval rending the air. When he spoke next his voice was more strained, but much more determined. “Less than a week,” he promised, made weak here where he would be strong in the face of the coming journey. “You have my word, less than one week, but I must go now Grinnaux.”

Yanking softly on the hair in his grasp, he pulled Grinnaux’s teeth free with a rough scrape a short shudder, captured his mouth into a bruising kiss, then twisted free and bolted for the door before he was agreeing to stay.

and apropos of absolutely nothing i’m going to share with you a thing I just so happened to stumble across while i was digging through my books to confirm stuff for earlier posts

it’s a snippet of a poem by a sir david lindsay, tutor to a rich entitled brat that so happened to be james v of scotland, and who despaired of this goddamn student, because

“For lyke ane boisteous Bull, ye rin and ryde Royatouslie like ane rude Rubeatour, Ay fukkand lyke ane furious Fornicatour”

or in modern english, “you boisterous bull, always running and riding, riotous like a rude scoundrel and fucking like a furious fornicator”

and so i thought i would share this with you all solely for the sake of spreading knowledge and with no other consideration or implication of any other relevance to any other facet or character in this fandom.

Balmung’s THW is  Recruiting

In a very unfortunate turn of events, real life obligations have dictated that our wonderful Ser Hermenost has to step down as a member of Balmung’s THW. We are terribly sorry to see them go but wish them all the very best in everything they do from this point onwards.

This means, however, that we are left with a rather large hole once filled by a wonderful person and looking to get the gap closed just a bit. So! If you fancy yourself picking up a knight and joining the Heavens’ Ward, please continue reading below!
