happy let lancer say tier-two swears day! heres lancer doing some part-time work at the seap (also featuring swears). specifically i think he helps out on the darkburger front since canonically they are only black because they are That Burnt.

now that its come up i will say im just gonna tag all lansei stuff with lansei even though i dont usually main tag everything. that way people can just block the tag if they like what i have to say otherwise but dont want to see that.

ok actually update on this: i dont want to put all lansei posts in the main tags for the same reasons i dont put Most of my posts in main tags But i want people to be able to block it (and i want to be able to search for it LOL) SO solution: everything is going to be tagged with the tag "lansei posting" instead. that way itll be tagged but wont go in the main tag.

reblogging this over here on account of i may be drawing a bunch of lansei stuff now that artfights done with and i have a bunch of new followers who probably havent seen my old posts with them. it will all probably also be maintagged as just lansei since itll be art though.

i firmly believe lancer is a teen. like 'writing an essay about it' firmly believe. i really cannot see him as a kid at all. but i also know a lot of the fandom Does Not Agree With Me and i dont want following my blogs to be a torturous experience for those who disagree. so, block these tags if you dont want to see ship stuff with him from me.

here's a bunch of UTDR stuff i did for my graphic design class this year! some notes under the cut.

so i feel like the first one speaks mostly for itself but just a little further context: my hc is that lancer and ralsei knew eachother and were Sort Of friends precanon. so, lancer made ralsei this before the lightners showed up so he could learn his way around card kingdom more easily.

the coins i made because i wanted to make designs for the G in undertale and thought asgore is just the exact type of sentimental to put his kids on the currency. assignment apparently only required one face but i wanted to do both.

flags---i was only Meant to do one but these didnt take me super long and i had A Vision. the idea is the first one was card kingdom's flag before the coup and the second one is its current flag.

(out of breath like i just dug my way out of the grave) this is my submission for sproutfight! it is a fill for the prompt denim with my ocs toshi (speech bubble) and nonoka (standing). some notes under the cut.

this drawing gave me HELL like for real. i had various ao3 author curse style ailments (pinched nerve. allergies. 'human body solves all of its problems with mucus'.). and then i realized the perspective was messed up on the sketch and then i spent like 2 weeks trying to settle on a good color for the walls (i gave up) (this is slightly slightly different than what i submitted to the tally form because. well. i messed with the wall colors a little bit more). i havent done shading like this in a while also.

i literally started this at the beginning of the month. i feel like i have been looking at it for too long and i dont want to not submit it in time so its done. its done. i hope we all love it i think i need to stop looking at it for a while before i decide.

anyway! nonoka and toshi are two characters im Hoping to be able to put together ref sheets for before artfight begins proper. theyre identical twins (nonoka is trans) so im hoping maybe i can reuse the base lmao. nonoka's hair is pink for most of act 2 (and so are toshis paws because he does Not put on gloves when helping her dye it but you cant see them here haha) but my thought is that this is the same shopping trip they pick up the hair dye.

i do not think they end up buying that skirt. too stiff fabric it's hard to get tail over its uncomfortable (i tried to make it clear with the shadows nonoka has her tail tucked under and isnt just tailless, hopefully it comes across). but very possible TOSHI actually ends up getting that jacket.

For real advice the best i have (i am not very good with art advice LOL):

ALL IVE GOT IS I USUALLY DRAWW EVERY DAY* . LIKE IN MY SKETCHBOOK OR ON MY COMPUTER OR ON PAPER IM USING FOR OSMETHING ELSE. I just draw a lot. Its mostly that. like thats what everyone always says but for real i do think its just an experience thing.

OH. one other thing. genuinely one of the best things for me is to just Look At Other People's Art and see what i like about Their art. like i saw someone who shades with a sort of blue-grey last month and ive been messing around with that since because i think its really really pretty! again i feel this is pretty common advice but... one of those situations where the most common advice actually is the best haha
