i feel nostalgic for a love that i’ve never had. i feel nostalgic for a person i’ve never met. maybe, in some other life, i loved a person so much that i can still feel remnants of that love inside my chest. maybe our love was so pure, and so deep, and so raw, and so real, that it never fully faded away. maybe i still carry it around with me. maybe that’s why it has never worked out with anyone else. maybe, part of me is still waiting to find that person. or perhaps they walked right past me without either one of us even realizing it. i wonder if i will run into them soon. i wonder if they know i have enough love for them to make it through six lifetimes without running out.
