Theres an entitlement from a lot of people that they should say slurs like retarded because “It was originally a medical term” or some shit like idk man. You’re using someone’s medical condition as a way to make fun of people and diminish them. That sounds like you’re using it as a slur mate.

I am not going to reblog this post because I have the user blocked, but I feel the need to address this because my name was mentioned in the messages between DoubleYouPersonality and WonderingDemon, albeit briefly. (CW for brief mention of suicide)

I knew I should’ve blocked this person long before I did, they have consistently been parasocial toward me and my friends for months and made many of us uncomfortable, especially during the issues they sparked with Starteas and Crypticscarecrow. The fact that Lapis had to beg them to leave them alone is mortifying, and my deepest condolences go to them. That being said, WD has been nothing but kind to me and when they told me to block DoubleYou I thought “Well, I really should have by now. What’s the worst that could happen?” Apparently this.
Seeing myself be mentioned by name in a text conversation I had no part in was utterly horrifying. Not only that, but being considered a “friend” of Starteas. I have nothing against him, I actually greatly admire his work, but we are acquaintances at best and have barely spoken at all. DoubleYou has no right to use my name in this conversation and I will be remaining firm in my choice to block them. However anyone else’s choice to block them is not mine to make, therefore I will not attempt to sway you one way or the other.
DoubleYouPersonality, if you somehow manage to see this, I deeply urge you to take a break from the internet entirely and seek professional help. Wanting to commit suicide over people on the internet blocking you is not healthy and is a sign that you are far too attached to people who barely know who you are. I only blocked you recently because your behavior made me uncomfortable but I was worried about seeming mean, though in the end I realize that it’s just the internet, it doesn’t matter that much. The fact that you reached out to me via my comments on AO3 is pathetic to put it bluntly, and with all due respect I would like for you to keep my name out of your mouth. I am begging you, please put down the phone, close your computer, and seek help. You are 23, act like it.

Context: So I dropped my phone on the road last year, starting this off really great-
Despite the damage, the poor thing was still working normally. However, recently this little shit is starting to give in as the screen is slowly shattering away and the charging port is starting to fumble with me. Yay.
As much as I want to save money to get a new phone, my priority is still to help out my family with the bills.
Things haven't changed much financially here for us, but we are still kicking. And by kicking I mean Capitalism and College are kicking my ass.
