I have just brought an E30 318i M40. Do i go for quicker and cheaper option, rebuild the M40. or spend the money and pop a M20B25 in.

What do you want from it? Do you have another car? I ask the second one because nothing usually goes smoothly when working on cars.

E24 ( needs euro conversion done and guibo) E28 ( 528e needs new gearbox & MS for turbo) E30 ( e30 dunno what to swap in) E34 ( strictly backup) E92 ( 328idk current daily waiting on.. Stuff)
