I kinda hate how Nap and Arthur look a little different everytime I draw them. Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out my art style when drawing these 19th century European dudes because I don't think my "usual" art style will fit them...

I normally dgaf about soccer but the 3rd place play-off match is gonna be so funny
So this truly was our Waterloo 2.0
Waterloo 2.0😭
This was a excuse to draw this ok? Their eyes are red because of the amount they stared at the tv oh and I have a feeling that Blücher is a footballer here (England side) and he is the reason why England won/jk
Yo Napoleon is gonna rips Wellington ahoge off😭😭💔
OMG HAHA I LOVE THIS VERY MUCH 😂😂😭😭 RIP Napoleon also RIP to both Arthur and Napoleon's eyes they're probably gonna need glasses after this 😔
But y'know Blucher playing on England's side sorta makes sense when you consider the fact that England's national team manager is a German guy 😭 What a funny coincidence too that this match took place exactly one month after Waterloo Day 🤔

Just for fun, here are all the times in Gourgaud's diary where Napoleon laments not having Fouché shot, hanged, or guillotined (and also regrets that Louis XVIII has likewise failed in this capacity).
Source: General Gourgaud, Sainte-Hélène - journal inedit de 1815 à 1818
*** 29 November 1815 – “I should have hanged him, that was my intention. If I had been victorious at Waterloo, I would have had him shot immediately.”
29 December 1815 – We speak of the news from France… His Majesty says that the King has done well to name Richelieu Prime Minister, but he should have hanged Fouché.
2 February 1816 – At 8 o’clock, His Majesty asks for me and dictates to me for a long while, then I have lunch with him. Sadness and chess. In the evening, it is said that Fouché has been executed. The Emperor exclaims: “I always predicted he’d eventually be hanged.”
16 February 1817 – “I am not Louis XVIII, but it has always repelled me to deal with such a man. The King should’ve had him hanged.”
11 July 1817 – “I cannot understand the current conduct of Paris. Had I stayed there after Waterloo, if I had cut off a hundred heads, that of Fouché the first, I could have held on in Paris with the rabble.”
14 July 1817 – “On my return from Waterloo, I was of a mind to have Fouché’s head cut off. I’d already composed the military commission, that of the Duke d’Enghien…”
23 September 1817 – [Speaking, again, of what he should have done after Waterloo] “I should, it is true, have had Fouché shot immediately after my arrival, he was the soul of the party, his judgment would have been shouted under the windows of the deputies to whom I could have said: ‘who invokes the tricolor flag? This is a man who fled France to take refuge with foreigners and who owes his return to Paris to me. At this moment there is no salvation except in men who love their country.’ I would have ended by demanding to purge the Chamber and by hanging seven or eight of its members and, above all, Fouché.
24 September 1817 – “I should’ve had the Duke of Otranto shot, but Laffitte prevented me from doing so. Talleyrand will maintain himself, he is a man of the Revolution, he is a priest married to a whore…”
"Stop shipping Napoleon with the Duke of Wellington, they were enemies and they never even met, it's weird and disrespectful!" 😡
Meanwhile, the Duke of Wellington's friend: "Hey, y'know.. what if.. in an alternate universe you and Napoleon were childhood friends? 🤔 Haha jk.. unless..? 😳"

Have some Napolington shit that I made ☝️☝️
Bonus more shitposts 😞
Thinking about how different Napoleon and Arthur were as dads like.. Even if Nap wasn't there for most of his son's life he still tried to be a good dad and his son never had anything bad to say about him, meanwhile Arthur was emotionally distant to his own kids and they even thought he didn't like them much.. Well, I wouldn't say he was a bad father and it wasn't like he was a deadbeat or anything, I believe that he was a responsible parent at least, but the fact that he was actually so nice to other people's kids but didn't act the same way with his own kids is kinda sad :(
Napoleonic Wars as Indo Shitposts Part 2

What is more poetic than two 40-something year old men who were born on the same year and came from two countries that are always at war with each other and never met each other only to fight one another on the battlefield and that being the last battle they ever fought in their lives because one had to spend the rest of his life in a tiny little island in the middle of the ocean where he eventually dies and the other was hailed as a hero in his country and was tired of fighting so he started to pursue a political career instead but that doesn't change the fact that their "meeting" on the battlefield heavily changed both of their lives as if they were connected by some red string of fate..?
