Not to be a glazer but I think the reason Hozier fans don’t have a song we can point to and say “meh wasn’t great” or “kinda bad” is cause he spends YEARS on his albums.

I mean his first album had its 10 year anniversary recently and he’s only ever released 3 albums, he averages like 4-5 years between albums. He spends time on his music, he isn’t pumping it out just to amen an album. It’s not like I’d never speak bad about his music cause I like him, but it’s cause he genuinely crafts his music to make it as good as he possibly can, which is refreshing in this day and age of how music is…
