The concert and the audienceâŠ
ok I need to publicly declare a few things to help me get myself in check for making this year productive. Yeah I know itâs almost March but whateva thereâs always time to Make a Change âą
Things I will be spending money on this year:
1. [March: Vegas?]Â 2. April: Coachella weekend 3. [May: NYC?] 4. May: Just Like Heaven Festival 5. June: Denver 6. July: Video trailer project 7. September: Italy 8. Credit card payments 9. Savings account
Things I will NOT be spending money on this year:
- Alcohol - Ubers to/from the alcohol - Concert tickets - Clothes - Subscriptions (other than Netflix) - Expensive dinners (~$30+)
Things I will be spending time on this year:
1. Writing 2. Working on my online store 3. Gym 4. Home cooked meals 5. Self-care (8 hrs sleep, skincare, cleaning) 6. Music/DJ practice 7. Helping friends with creative projects 8. Reading books
Things I will NOT be spending time on this year:
1. Boys (texting, phone calls, swiping, dating, etc.) 2. Instagram 3. Twitter 4. Netflix (without doing something during) 5. Shopping (window or otherwise) 6. Partying (birthdays and holidays exempt) 7. Watching dumb videos online
If I am going to make any sort of personal or career progress this year I need a buttload of ground rules so here they are and HOLD ME TO THEM.
dumping this story here to fangirl out because my friends seem to be getting bored with me talking about it
OMGGG I cannot believe my liiife. last night I saw my celeb crush perform whom Iâve had the hots for for literally a decade. I Â met him once before at this other event and managed to figure out how to say hi to him and he was super nice and asked my name and was like it was nice to meet you. and I thought THAT was like life changing tbh. but THIS TIME was SO MUCH BETTER. I went to the event alone because nobody would respond to my texts and when I got there it was this super chill/intimate party and I was hanging out towards the front near the stage. I wasnât sure if heâd remember me but at some point he looked up and saw me and gave me a head nod and I was like WTFF howww??? and I was just hanging out dancing by the front and made eye contact a couple times but was trying not to be creepy about it lol. and when he finished his set I legit just kind of walked up to him on the side of the stage and he reached out and hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and was like how are you? I was like WTFFFTFTF and he asked my name again and was like good to see you. like he greeted me like we were homies and I was like WTF bae is lowkey dowwwn omg. and I let it sizzle for a minute and let him do his thing and he left and I assumed that would be the end of it. but at the same time I had a feeling it wasnât over lol so like 10 mins later I went out to the patio and he was still out there chillin talking to some friends and I was like WUT. so I kinda walked over and waited for a good entry point lol and his friend walked away and I SAWOOPED in there and was like heyy and he hugged me AGAIN and was like how are you. and he looked genuinely happy to talk to me like he was actually smiling and shit omg. and he was like are you friends with [the other performer] cause I saw you at that other show? and I was like ummm naw haha I didnât know how to tell him bruh I came here for YOU lol. and then his coworker walked up and he introduced me to her and I was just like in their convo for a second and ionno he was so just like cool with me being there and it felt weirdly affectionate standing next to him? like I dunno if thatâs the right word but it felt like we already knew each other and we legit looked like a cute couple like we kind of dress the same too lmao so I dunno there was something weird about it obviously in a good way. and then the other performer who is also super cute and bae walked up to talk to the group and I was just there in the middle of it like uhhh omg what is going on this is the best hahah. and eventually he had to go and he was like it was good to see you and I was like yeah see you around lmao because I literally have tix to see him perform again next month but didnât want to tell him aghhhh. like Iâm so fucking into him and I swear I keep attracting him into my life because the last two times I met him it was a super last min decision that just worked out perfectly. ionno man just had to chronicle this lol baii.
ive been thinking about that noise bobby makes for like 2 days now what the fuck

We donât even need a disney remake of Mulan. Look at this.
I would totally watch more Disney reboots if children from the actual ethnicities were cast in those movies.
Oh my gooooosh this is so cute!!!
Watched this so much as a kid I know the words by heart even though itâs in Chinese đđđ
omg this is SO CUTE
Hazel Scott playing two pianos at the same damn time with ease
Hazel Scott was a musical sorcerer and a civil rights hero. Â She:
was admitted to Julliard at 8. Â
was performing in top venues by 16. Â
pioneered âswinging the classicsâ and made the equivalent of a million dollars a year doing it. Â
was the first person of color to have their own national TV show. Â
went to Hollywood but refused to be cast as a âsinging maid.â  Demanded and got control over her casting, her wardrobe, and how footage featuring her was cut. Â
refused to perform in segregated venues and led charges for integration in several northern cities, notably Spokane. Â
She was brought down by the House Committee on Unamerican Activities, and has been largely forgotten. Â But she was a sorcerer, and a hero. Â
@theladyragnell
Letâs un-forget her.
