Summer hobbies:

Figuring out crocheting the magic circle and baking more s’mores cookies. Tweaked the recipe and they came out better this time :)

A year ago, I never would have thought I’d become so obsessed with ceramics, but here we are

Next semester: better handles, more tiny bottles, and more lord of the rings themed pieces

Using a shadowbox to photograph my ceramics from last semester, can’t wait to get back on the wheel. Wish I didn’t have to wait so long

In addition to these two, I made a big Rocky teapot but the glaze is bubbly and it’s too big to be functional anyway:/ I also made a raku fired Rocky figure but the glaze melted several of his legs to the shelf so he is in quite rough shape. (The figure in the photo had a leg broken off and glued on but you can’t see it so therefore it’s not there)

Second pocket officially done, still have five more dinosaurs left to embroider, and that’s if I don’t decide to add some on the back

Been baking a lot this summer. So far, I’ve made banana bread cookies, brownie stuffed chocolate chip cookies, brownie cookies, chocolate chip cookie, s’more cookies, and rice crispy treats (don’t have pictures of most :/ )

Hoping to bake more before I start back at college. Willing to share recipes and open to hearing new ones

Recently started embroidering and discovered the joy of decorating my clothes
