I’ve been hard at work on sets of OCs for fake DBD dlcs and I’m eventually gonna organize all the info in my journals and give them their own DBD multi -- but for now, I’m happy just working on Hannibal.

I did some replies and unwound for a bit so I’m gonna go play DBD for a bit.  If anyone wants to SWF with me hmu!

Daily reminder that the “ Psychopathy / Sociopathy “ that are commonly referred to by people and media both fall under the diagnosis of Antisocial Personality Disorder, which Hannibal doesn’t fit. He doesn’t have ASPD, he isn’t a ‘psychopath’ and he doesn’t have to be one to be a bad person, just the same as being one doesn’t make you a bad person. It’s a disorder that while difficult, can be treated with time and shouldn’t be demonized or romanticized. :)

Lestat would have every right to spin his ‘i told you so’, to be bitter or laugh at him -- to feel vindicated by this turn of events.  He does no such thing.  He hurts for Hannibal in a show of grand empathy and fury that moves Hannibal’s heart.  Hannibal can’t help but smile. 

“ Honestly -- ?  I’m not entirely certain I would have gotten away, if I hadn’t been pulled into this realm after I gutted him. “ Ah, that’s an important detail.  ( The pool of blood in the kitchen, seeping into dark wood.  Enough blood for two people.  Too much blood for two people. )

“ Jack Crawford arrived to dinner early.  I left him bleeding out in the pantry with a shard of glass in his carotid.  Alana came, and I tried to persuade her to leave -- she gambled on her bullets, but I had taken them.  Abigail pushed her out of the window.  When Will arrived, I gutted him, and I killed Abigail.  I was on my way to Bedelia’s home when the mist surrounded me.  I stepped out of the rainy Baltimore street and right into the woods.  I had a contingency plan in place, but what I’d done was risky.  I don’t know if I would have made it out of the country.  I planned to go to France, and then to Italy.  Return to my roots.

There are times when his skin pulls taut.  It feels as though his bones could stretch through and break when the hunger gets too awful -- contrary to most creatures of his nature, he appreciates blending into society.  It’s pleasant, aesthetics and ethics that he doesn’t feel the need to abide by but appreciates their existence.  

If there’s one thing that Hannibal knows when he sees one, it’s a HUNTER.  It’s DARKNESS.  Perhaps Sam Winchester does not wear his profession on his sleeve, but Hannibal still approaches his new patient with the kind of caution one ought to afford a WINCHESTER.

He looks a little nervous, the way he doesn’t sit down when he enters the room -- posture just a bit closed off.  Hannibal gives him what is intended to be a sympathetic smile, meant to soothe his nerves.  “ Have you ever been to a therapist before, Mr. Winchester ? “
