Part of me wants to believe that Sangwoo is truly trying to treat Yoonbum better, and his feelings towards Yoonbum have actually changed immensely, for the better. (I feel this especially after reading this chapter, when he says “Because no matter how I look at you, you’re not her...” meaning he’s finally come to his senses and realized that he shouldn’t take all the anger about his mother out on Yoonbum, because it’s not his fault, and he’s not his mom, no matter how similar they look.)

Yet, deep down, another part of me thinks that Sangwoo is just being his manipulative self and its only a matter of time before he snaps, once again. ;v;

Out of ALL the theories I read and created, this chapter still caught me absolutely off guard.

Sangwoo’s back!! And he’s... being nice? and reasonable?? and kind and fluffy to Yoonbum!! He put on a movie for him to watch (sureee it was just so he could distract him long enough to chop up his dead uncle, but I think this can be looked past for sake of everything else that went on within this chapter), he let him take a nice shower, hugged him, he acted... fairly normal in this chapter, and it was honestly quite surprising.

ALSO. Sangwoo blowing Yoonbum. Is that character development I see?? Or Sangwoo just being Sangwoo... hmmmmm. I did notice the parallelism between the frame with Sangwoo with cum on his face and the panel at the very beginning of KS that was Yoonbum with cum on his face. Like I said- character development!!! All this development with Sangwoo makes me think that this new hairstyle of his (which actually looked really nice in this chapter???) might also be symbolic of his change in personality, or at least his outward feelings and interactions towards Yoonbum.

LAST THING I HAVE TO SAY. Yoonbum was acting quite strange towards Sangwoo the whole chapter it seemed like (I mean, I’m sure anyone would act strangely towards the guy who just killed someone they knew then fled the scene out of nowhere), yet Sangwoo was able to keep his cool and be reasonable. AND THAT LAST PART. That last part. “Now you’re looking at me...” I died. Whatever was left of my soul left my body. This chapter was wild and had an entirely different atmosphere, but I feel it’s just the beginning of what is to come.

Some KS predictions/guesses/what I want for the next chapter:

1. Bum immediately forgives Sangwoo and feels incredibly guilty for hurting him

2. Sangwoo gives a very superficial apology before leaning into Bum’s sympathy, and subtly pushes the responsibility of their falling-out onto Bum

3. There’s a bathtub scene, which is 100% integral to the plot and totally not just Koogi looking for an excuse to draw Sangwoo naked

4. Only one of these five questions will be answered: 1) What’s on the wall, 2) What was Momwoo’s secret, 3) How did Sangwoo survive the rat poison, 4) What was that tapping sound, 5) What happened to his hair.

5. Sangwoo and Bum make up, and there’s a problamatic fluffy scene

6. Final scene is of the dead uncle

7. Jk, final scene is of Seungbae, getting out of the bath, because it’s symbolic of him getting his life back together, a literally no other possible reason
