midterm
Went to campus yesterday to get some books from the library. It felt so strange and empty, but the uni definitely gives of some proper autumn vibes ✨ Time to make myself a cup of tea and start working on midterm assessment 📑

One of my latest challenges is to actually find time to read what I want to rather than all the books and articles that I ~should~ be reading... I have to keep reminding myself that it’s all about balance and that I can study and have a life at the same time!

🏛 planning & ☕️
This spread makes me so happy! ✨ I love planning ahead and jotring down everything that has to be done, especially if I like the way my planner looks 📖
Also, it’s my birthday tomorrow and I am kind of excited but also keep forgetting about it...

One of three sonnets I have written for my friend’s birthday ✨ It’s not very good, but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

3 weeks till uni
also, my ice cream matches my book - late august goals ✨
I can’t wait to go back to uni and to my new flat, but I am also trying to enjoy every minute of summer holiday, because I know I’ll miss the warm days and boredom dearly once semester begins 📚

my my, what a summer
Firstly, sorry for the lack of content in the past, well, year. Truth be told, my dorm roomwas not particularly aesthetic and it was quite difficult to make studying look pretty (it was super interesting though). And with everything going on at the moment, I’ve spent the past couple of months reading in our cottage in the countryside (or in the garden thereof). In an attempt not to get too detached from reality, I have gobbled up Hans Rosling’s “Factfulness” aaand - everyone should read it, now! It has changed the way I see the world for the better 🤍🌿

alright alright, I know it’s only january, but
who’s excited for spring
🌷🌞🌿
that is besides me and this little buddy I met yesterday in the botanical gardens.
Honestly, coming back after a truly magical Christmas was kind of hard - I miss everyone so much 😭
But after a week of uni, I feel motivated enough for the semester ✨
And besides, I’ll se them again very soon.
I wish you all the light you cam get during those dark and gloomy months!
a small guide on how i battle my essays! (click on an image to view it clearer)
(keep in mind: i’m an english major so a majority of my essays are literature-focused!)
these are just some of the methods i want to share that work for me when i write my innumerable amount of essays! i’m definitely a huge planner so it’s no secret that i spend a lot of time on an essay. if you’re a deadline fighter, these tips might not necessarily be helpful (especially the handwriting one). but i hope this gives you an insight on how i write my essays! 🌈

end of semester one
Wow, what an intense three and a half months! Honestly, I’m glad exams are over and I will be able to enjoy Christmas with my friends and family, whom I haven’t seen in ages ✨ But I’m also looking forward to semester two and all the wonderful things I’ll get to learn.
⭐️ Good luck on your exams and the loveliest of holidays to all of you! ⭐️

🏛 revision period
Alright, I should be revising all the time, but instead I learn Scottish Gaelic on duolingo and throw alone pj dance parties in my dorm room. Oh well... Also looking forward to Christmas more than ever, can’t wait to see my all friends and family again ✨ What keeps you going this exam season?
Love you all, take a deep breath and you’ll be just fine! xx
