All around was the blue void of the sea, mostly free of other animals aside from the occasional unlucky school of fish that found themselves as a nice snack for the travelling sharks. Straying a bit further from the main herd, as others went off to catch a more filling meal, Mercury caught a sight beyond strange. Not just a fish, a dolphin.

Slowly swimming forward, towards the wriggling creature, they lunged at the area with a large snap of their jaws. 

     “Watch your tail!”

It was a crab that ended up feeling the shark’s bite, but it had been sudden and loud all the same.

The sound had him absolutely startled, and the great shape of this large creature was enough for him to back up quite a bit. Bubbles briefly sputtered out from the blowhole on top of his head, but he kept everything else in as his questions were already there.      “You snuck up on me!? I thought I was fine enough...       Hey, that was my crab! What do you think you’re doing?” Though, he wasn’t about to just dive into those massive jaws and retrieve the mesh of remains of the dead crab. Looks at this one’s features instead, and was still in awe by the size of this shark. | @megalcdon​ |

The sea was always a constant void of endless trouble and fun, but what this young dolphin had been unprepared for was a massive school of sharks in the area. It was the time of the year when most creatures migrated, and he had been all alone to himself without anyone to warn him. Though, they weren’t necessarily a danger to him, it could always be one if his guard was down. Keeps a wary eye on several, while he decided to mess around with the coral and soft sponges of life at the bottom of this bed. Nose pressing down into that and sand, trying to coax out some crab for a quick snack. He was completely unaware of the looming company, nearby... | @megalcdon |

╟ ☠ ╢ They were only half true, after all.  ‘Ukbar was the eye of the seas. He did look them over, but it was not for the safety of others. His head angles to one side to allow green irises to track the other as this dolphin turns it’s wee body completely to one side. 

Mirth rises within the massive being as he watches how relieved this one becomes; at how believing the other was. ❝What luck!! To become a Guardian with such youth as yourself?❞ ‘Ukbar questions with calm amusement when he caught sight of the little bluish critter flit right up to him to get a closer lip. If only the croc could lick lips, it’d have slid across teeth now that the wee dolphin was right there by his hind quarters.

The young dolphin was curiously roving over this one’s old features, because he’s never seen something so ancient! It was exciting to get this chance to explore so much of an oceans past with one individual. What wonders has he seen to have so many scars!? What monsters has he face to get them! The little Ecco was reeling with many fantasies plaguing his thoughts, and you could tell that he was just about to burst with his excitement by the way his tail flanks wiggled.

     “Yes, I know!! It’s still a shock to me, as well! Protector of the sea!        Heh, kinda silly, really... I’m nothing special.” Knowing he was going to be needing some fresh air soon, but he was too enamored with staring at this great one. Wide, young eyes were grazing over every single detail they could scoop up. His little form was getting closer and closer, wanting a better look. Unaware of the real danger in all this. | @crocodeilos |
