The Swamp exists on the edge of a small town in The Bible Belt named Mercy. Mama brought us here before I was even a thought in her mind.

Daddy is irrelevant, and also, dead. I could tell you a dead dad joke…maybe we’ll have time for that later.

I want to make something explicitly clear, I am not special.

I am not Buffy. I am not The Chosen One. I am not The One Girl In All The World. There is no prophecy about my family being destined to lead the war in Good vs Evil. I AM NOT SPECIAL, I am literally just a girl who got lucky. I am not a superhero. I am not a vampire slayer.

I’m just a “white trash swamp witch” living in my trailer. Helping, healing, and protecting where I can.
