So... was at the obel vendor, spending on gloves and for some reason got a Ring of Starless Skies with a greater affix wtf lol IT WASN'T EVEN FOR RINGS
As a woman playing in a male-dominated game space (Diablo), I've realized a few things.
Now understandably, anyone with a semblance of understanding of the Diablo gameplay, you eventually want to find better gear to optimize and max your build to its greatest potential. Everyone can agree to this.
But. There's this underlying habit of everyone just... complaining. Complaining. Trolling. Why? Can you not just enjoy the game? Yes, Blizzard is notorious for screwing shit up. We know this. So why does everyone keep acting like it's such a surprise? Also, if you hate it so much, why are you still playing it?
Someone said to me, well, I enjoy playing the game, but Blizzard needs to get their shit together.
Okay. That's fair. I attest to this.
But it's not going to happen today. Nor will it happen tomorrow. So maybe take a step back on the bitching and complaining and just enjoy the game for what it is, if you enjoy it so much. Or go play Path of Exile, I don't fucking know.
There's also this general lack of care for the lore and plot. Again, everyone is just focusing on the game itself. Fair. To each their own. But shitting on others for expressing interest in the lore, and wanting to chat about the lore to better understand it shouldn't be something that's like... frowned upon. I don't even know if that's the right word I want to use, but the bottom line is Diablo is more than just farming to the point of incel behavior to find the best mythics and uniques. Don't complain that the season is almost done 2 weeks into the season. That's nobody's problem but your own.
I truly thought Urivar was Baal. He gave real strong destructive vibes.
But no. He was just a guy. Some rando.
The Eru plot twist was good though.

What is the most IRRITATING enemy to fight in any diablo game and why is it shamans? I fucking hate those things. They’re so fucking annoying. STOP RAISING IMPS AND RUNNING AWAY YOU SCRAWNY DEMON TWINKS LET ME KILL YOU
When I first played Diablo 2, beating Duriel was brutal because you fight him in this small ass cave and his goddamn ice powers.
I just started d2 for the first time but I’m still in act 1! Ngl I think the most irritating boss I’ve had to fight was probably either Zoltan Kulle in d3 (those damn sand golems of his are fucking tanks at lower levels and his slow time spell is infuriatinggggg) or probably Act 4 andariel in d4? I say andariel mainly because she kept fucking throwing me into the swirling vortex around the area that you fight her in and if you don’t get out of the wind asap it’ll kill you so damn fast.
Like in all honesty, I find the damn Fallen Lunatics to be the most irritating enemy in d4, mainly because if you’re in a helltide and open your map for ten seconds to try and find the closest cache, you’re liable to be blown to smithereens if you don’t hear them being summoned fast enough to close your map and teleport the fuck out of dodge
Yeah, that's why I loved hydras. Stack that shit to its max when tempering items, add the serpentine aspect and you have 7 heads with 3 hydras. Nothing will touch you.

Did you know that you can actually masterwork the hydra head affix you get from tempering? Only the 25% boost for one random affix every four levels will affect it, BUT IT DOES AFFECT IT, and if you’re lucky enough to get the random affix for it, THE SHIT STACKS

And yes, master working is crrrriticial. I'm so happy they're bringing in the scrolls that you can use to reset tempering on items, THANK GOD. How many items I've lost due to shit rolls.
