Sorry if you’ve been asked this before, but what brushes do you use? :3c they look so purty…

I use Gesinki Ink & Nikko Rull with a color jitter, and a basic pixel square! I often mess with any free brush I can find though! Thank you!! :D

I've been watching the Glitter animation on repeat throughout the past day and I adore the way Mizzus' 3D model looks! I don't think I've ever seen that type of 2D-in-3D implementation where only the head/face is done with 2D planes and it looks so good!!

I am curious, do you have to do a lot of tweaking of Mizzus' head and face planes for different camera angles? I think the best example I can think of is the over-the-shoulder angle in the animation. I think I noticed that her head planes are *slightly* curved, which I imagine helps with when the view angle changes, but I wonder if it's one of those things that takes a lot of work to get to "look correct" when animating

THANK YOUUUUU SO MUCH!! ;w; It was a really fun challenge to figure out!! I actually attempted modelling her first and realized the way I draw her doesn't work in 3d space so I'm happy the 2d face works! (yapping below)

Also, not as much tweaking as you think! Since her face holds the textures of both her front and side angles, I just have to pose her always facing the camera, and it's easy to do that by hand! (Hardest part is keeping her neck hidden)

Her turn, with and without the texture on:

(had to bring her upper jaw ALL the way up so the texture can peek over her shoulder)

with the turn table shot, i just rotated her face a little slower than her body, so she's following the camera more

I actually have more problems posing her body and her ARMS, since I always want her up close to dr but there's no space... i break her shoulder a lot...

Also her face planes are perfectly flat, but i love that curved plane idea!! i bet it'd add such a nice dimension.. (writing down)
