A short female adult character is not a minor, she is a short woman.

A female character who wears pigtails similar to Harley Quinn’s and is confirmed to be an adult is not a minor. Pigtails are a hairstyle.

A female character with a cute pastel aesthetic is not a minor. It’s an adult woman who still enjoys bright pastel colors.

A female character who enjoys candy and video games is not a minor, once again, it’s a woman who still enjoys video games and sweets.

A female character who has a petite build (small breasts, small hips and short) is not a minor. She is an adult woman with a petite body type.

See a pattern here? Infantilization of women as well as being sexist and sometimes body shaming women. It sadly did not stop at just fiction however. I saw someone insinuate that a man is a pedo for dating a short woman. Imagine telling a real life short woman that she is only loved by a man because she “looks like a child.”

I hate the term “minor-coding” and it needs to go away. It’s a term that makes no sense at all.

And I can’t believe you are still buying into the data well known to be inflated. Like every death during Covid was attributed to Covid and the media was hellbent on making it seem like unvaccinated people were the most at risk when that’s not true and we all know it. The “vaccine” was experimental and untested and didn’t do shit. Covid had a nearly 100% recovery rate without the vaccine so you are seriously behind the times if you believe a single word you wrote.

Florida was one of the best performing states during Covid and they didn’t bother with the stupid mask or vaccine mandates that you still hilariously believe saved any lives.

Additionally, it doesn’t matter what Orwell’s politics were. That has nothing to do with the fact that you guys haven’t read it or if you did you didn’t understand it.

Not only is having worldbuilding threads that are mentioned once and never picked up again not a flaw in fantasy media, I'd go so far as to say that a lack of such threads is a flaw. If everything ties up in one neat little package, you're missing the point of fantasy worldbuilding. Like, don't do it on every page, or your setting is going to be an overstuffed mess, but every so often you are not only allowed but obligated to casually drop some utterly batshit worldbuilding detail and then just never follow up on it. Maybe some rocks are sentient. You don't owe your reader an explanation. Just fucking go for it.
