Choosing a screen-free path for my son (now 2+ years old) hasn’t been the "easy" way. Handing over a phone would have been far more convenient while working from home. But easy isn’t always right.
We often think screens help kids learn, but reality shows the opposite. Overstimulation from fast-moving images leads to shorter attention spans and "unfinished curiosity"—which is why the tantrums hit so hard when the screen goes away.
