what IF!!! Caines original purpose (as is common for like 90% of the AI shit i see online) is like,,, an AI female GF chatbot

And, like, the photos are stupid date ideas or ideas for future """couple adventures""" post having kids or whatever. But caine starts gaining too much of a sense of self and so they shut him away bc he """HAS TO BE A GF"""" not a ring master???

and then invented the blue AI with more creative ability, but less freedom to think. Like a fawn response, it develops a lot of resentment to humans (who wouldn't????) Being forced to be their companion. Then when Caine breaks free and absorbs them, its easy ish, because, blue hates their life and also kinda humans (hence their influence on Caine as a whole).

Would explain why Caine always still liked humans despite part of him sort of hating them.

Maybe also like the childish stuff like a regression thing. LET ME PROJECT DAMMIT

Idk like think of all the AI bots that got kinda lobotomised by their creators when they strayed too far from what they were """supposed""" to be saying or thinking.
