oh, to have an easy kind of love. to have the freedom to be yourself and do your own thing with the comfort of having someone to come home to at the end of a long day or a rough week. someone who knows you inside and out, who gives you space but stays within reach if you suddenly need a shoulder. a love that's natural, sanguine, almost otherworldly. a love that stays. a love that endures. that makes you want to be a better person. a love that's uncomplicated, doesn't demand your time or your energy, a love that's patient and waits for you. a love that you can rest in. it's respectful, it's serene, it's meant to be. that kind of love. i think it's the least we can ask.
