Why English?

"English is not just a subject that we learn in school for the reason that it is a key to unlimited knowledge."

The world nowadays has more than one billion people that exist, and one of the most spoken languages is English. It is the language that 1,500 million speakers take advantage of. From this, we should study English, isn't it?

It is considered by many that students need to study English. From my perspective, learning a universal language like English has several advantages.

Initially, this thing is helpful with career finding. If we want to get a good job with better salary, we must have a brilliant profile. Aside from having high education, being able to speak English as a second language fluently can make our resume better than other individuals. To show a case, my sister did a TOEIC test and her score was above average. The company that she decided to join in accepted her and she also received a scholarship for studying abroad.

Furthermore, becoming versed in English helps individuals to improve their skills. Some may ask why we have to know how to speak English when we already have Google Translate available. In fact, AI and other programs in the 20th century still cannot compete with human brain. Hence, learning English is very important. It enables us to develop our abilities by receiving new information.

Besides from improving skills and getting a better job, acquiring knowledge of English gives us a great opportunity to happily travel around the world and communicate with other foreign individuals. Everyone knows that English is a global language. Imagine how convenient it is if we can chat or confer with native speakers without worrying about about language barrier! In my case, moving to another country in the future is my big dream. The question is what's the most important thing I need to acquire when going to a different land? The answer is language. If I seriously gain knowledge of English, when I grow up or even now, going anywhere in the world will be so much easier for me.

Studying English, in summary, provides us with a really good chance to see and understand better the world we live in. English is not just a subject that we learn in school for the reason that it is a key to unlimited knowledge. Pupils should learn English for a brighter future.

Is playing video games a good hobby for children?

In the present, engaging in games is an acceptable interest. Everyone has reasons for joining in games. Taking part in games has a lot of good effects. Having fun and making a good relationship--these are just a few positive sides for entertaining oneself with games.

Some people think that playing video games is a good activity for kids. From my point of view, I strongly agree with that because if youths join in games they will get countless good things.

Having fun with games, to start with, can make youngsters have fun. To show, most pupils have anxiety from learning and they should find some ways to make them feel relaxed, like joining in games or other ways. But from my experience, I usually compete in games because nowadays there are a lot of games and they are free and easy to play because they have a guide that can teach beginners how to play. I also heard from many individuals that the main reason why games are made is to make crowd feel happy.

Aside from feeling on top of the world, entertaining themselves with games helps youngsters to practice various skills. To illustrate, when they have to do something, they have to use their skills to do it successfully and being involved in games can help children improve their skills, like reading, listening and remembering a lot of English words since if they cannot listen and read they cannot engage in games. So, if youths want to play games, they have to learn and practice some English skills before they can have fun. In addition, kids learn English skills in games too because a lot of games take advantage of English to communicate with players.

Apart from helping students have fun and teaching English, participating in games allows youngsters to find new acquaintances. For example, nowadays there are countless online games that can help crowd chat with friends from far away places. Also, there are various applications that help individuals search for persons to play games and make friends with. As a result, online games help youths to look for other people to compete in games with, especially online games, since it can help kids be friends with other individuals.

In a nutshell, being involved in games has good sides for kids. It helps crowd to study English, allows persons to create friendship and makes individuals have fun and lessen their anxiety from other activities.
