IT’S BEEN TOO LONG 🤗 . It’s been about 3 months since I’ve posted and a lot longer since I’ve regularly posted on here. . I needed a break, I wanted to spend the summer with my family without worrying about getting content shots, writing captions or (the worst part) hashtag research 🥱. . I now feel as though it’s a good time for me to come back. I really hope to start enjoying this process again, because it started to become a bit of a chore tbh. . GOODBYE SPOTS WITH PICK-ME-NOTS! . I first tried these spot patches ages ago and they are still a go-to for those breakout days . These ones from @revolutionskincare are amazing value, and are literally magic! 🪄 . I had a spot that hadn’t come to a head, a few hours of wearing one of these and it was pretty ripe 🤢. . They use salicylic acid and tea tree oil to help draw the spot out while the witch hazel soothes the area to help reduce redness. . You get 60 stickers in a pack (I’m down to my last few now!). I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE IT….. . I’ve been (trying) to use this for quite a few months now. I’ve really tried to persevere and try different tactics to get this to work…. . Nothing has worked though. I really wanted to love this vitamin C, but I just can’t. Want to know why? . Pilling. I’m sure you’ve experienced it at some point with something. This happened 100% of the time with this. . It makes it impossible to get a good finish on makeup after this, not to mention feeling pretty icky with bits all over your face all day. . Have you experienced pilling with this product? I FOUND THE SECRET TO THE PERFECT NIGHTS SLEEP 💤 . AD | GIFTED. I was asked by @vitmi_ to try some of their new vitamin patches which they have just launched and share with you lovely lot what I thought of them. . I chose the sleep support patches as I have a lot of trouble with falling asleep and actually having a restful nights sleep. . Wow, these DID NOT disappoint. I was out like a light 30 minutes after putting the patch. I woke up feeling a little groggy, but this wore off quite quickly and I actually felt like I’d had a good nights sleep for once. . I choose to stick the patch on the underside of my wrist because there’s no hair there. The first time was a little painful to remove it (I have hairy arms lol). . I also have to point out that I react to most plasters, I had no reaction with the adhesive on these patches. They are also vegan and cruelty free. . HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT?! 🤯 . I’m genuinely curious because it annoys me that I can’t stay consistent on here. . Being a mum of 2 young kids, working part time, school runs and of course doing all the usual household day to day stuff leaves extremely little time in the day. . I want to grow on here, I want to be consistent but I just can’t seem to do it. An extra hour or 2 in the day should do it 🤣. . SENSITIVE TEETH BE GONE! 🦷 . AD | GIFTED - I kindly got sent this toothpaste from @sensodyneuk to try and being someone who has always had sensitive teeth, I was eager to try it. . This isn’t an overly minty toothpaste, which I quite enjoyed as sometimes i feel like it’s burning my tongue. . This definitely does what it says on the tin, it reduced my sensitivity and sometimes it was completely gone. . This was just in time for a sunny day which meant I could enjoy my ice cream without pain 🍦. . WELL, THAT WAS DISSAPOINTING…. . Not only has the weather done a complete 180 which means I have no idea what to wear anymore… . I found the jubilee concert a bit underwhelming… . Apart from @samhairwolfryder he was amazing, as he always always is, and I loved the word swap out as a nod to the queen in his song. . There were sound issues throughout the whole concert and when something is live, there’s always going to be something that doesn’t go right. . I really think there could have been so many better choices for artists to showcase the incredible spectrum of musical talent we have in the UK that spanned the time the queen has been on the throne. . APPRECIATION POST FOR…. . @lorealparis infallible 32h fresh wear foundation. . For the first time in ages I actually bought foundation. And I bought it in the shade, which I’m sure you can agree can be a task in itself when you’re not allowed to test them out, I’m putting it down to luck for being honest. . I wanted a long wearing foundation, so I thought I couldn’t go wrong with 32 hours worth right?⏰ . I was right, this foundation lasted really well, the coverage is medium and it didn’t go patchy throughout the day like some do. 😁 . This is quite a thin foundation, so it blended really nicely and evenly and even though it’s thin, the coverage was still good. . I’m wearing shade 125 natural beige. It has a warmer undertone to it which I prefer because I am quite pale, so this gives me a bit of a glow without looking orange. 🍊 . It’s a 👍🏻 from me! . SOOOO WE’RE BACK TO JUMPERS THEN? . What the hell is up with this spring weather?!? We’ve actually got snow showers forecast here this week! . We had a little taste of the sun and now I’m in jumpers, coats and scarfs again! . ROSE GLOW 🌹 . Thought I’d experiment with my Rosé liquid highlighter from @elikyabeauty and use it as more than just a highlighter on my cheekbones. ❤️ . I mixed a small amount into my foundation to give me an illuminated base. ✨ . Unfortunately it didn’t mix that well created a kind of marbled effect, but I used it anyway and made sure to blend it well. . I was unsure of the outcome at first because it gave me a pink toned base colour which I’m just not used to. . Fortunately after setting and applying the rest of my makeup I quite liked the outcome. . I JUST DID SOMETHING IVE WANTED TO FOR A LONG TIME! . Ever since I was very little me and mum talked about it. . Then we would talk about it with my younger brother. . So after 21 years of talking about it….WE DID IT! . We finally went to go and see ‘The Lion King’ at the @lyceumtheatreldn on Saturday. It was one of the best things I’ve ever seen on stage and I would 100% go again. . We could sing along, laugh and (almost) cry in all the right places. There really is no other like it. .
