Well, Mike is. distraught to put it lightly.

We didn't mention it to anyone else but Klunk hadn't been doing well - she was a bit sick and it showed how much she slept. Mike's tried everything but she was an older cat as-is.

She passed away in his arms.

Simoni was there with him so at least he had that comfort: he initially didn't want anyone else there.

I don't think I'll ever forget what I heard. That scream. Mike's never sounded like that and I never want to ever hear him sound like that again.

Mike was, uh.

He was able to get Miguel to take off the hoodie and it's.. so much worse than we expected. I'm horrified because he has a vivisection scar.

It's fresh. This looks like it finally healed after a month but God, it's horrifying. He's got marks all over him from what I'm assuming is needles and some slices on his shoulder, his hands, back of his neck.. his shell looks like it was physically cracked open.

Simoni's with him and holding him while I look at him.

I can see Simoni and Miguel's bond though - he looks murderous and I don't think I've seen that before on him. God help the EPF because he's gonna burn that shit down.

Don is making sure no trackers are in him either: I'm not letting those fuckers get to my family.

But yeah. Miguel is.. gonna need a lot of healing: physically and mentally.

it's gonna be a minute before Miguelito here is ready to say hi in person but he did wave when I mentioned you: probably the most coherent he's been since he's gotten here!

I'm helping with his tremors in the meantime and he nearly bit Leo's hand off when he reached for his hoodie. So, looking at his shell or plastron is a no-go.

If you guys happen to come over just... be careful, he's ready to bite or bolt at any second.

Got it... I'll see if Angie wants to bake cookies as a peace gift.

Listen: I know you're worried but surprisingly everyone who's come so far is.. doing okay. Miguel (just gonna call him that as to alleviate confusion) is gonna need a bit more patience because he's so high-strung right now but overall? Everyone seems to be okay.

... I never thought I'd see myself and cry.

I've never seen any Mikey stare like that: not even Simoni did. He's so guarded even around Simoni it's worrying but the scars sorta. prove he can be wary.

Simoni meanwhile is trying to keep calm since his Mikey is one wrong move away from either freezing, flying or fighting and so far he's fought.

So! Imma make him some actual food because he's thin. Something light but still filling.

Hello, Don here, a gigantic Raphael is sitting on my couch and spotted me.

And proceeded to look at me with the saddest eyes I have ever seen to the point I hugged him. Yes, I did get emotional because technically this is.. my big brother from the future and no Raphael should look so worn down and sad.

My question is: he was assumed dead. He's here and alive.

I'm anticipating other family members to come back. Including my future self.

Christ, I get back and within minutes realize my cell service must've been absolutely nothing because I got bombarded with messages and.

A 6 year old Don.

He's uninjured, as far as I can tell, and doesn't seem to be in pain from the transformation so it may have been mystic in nature. Either way, he's gonna be like this for a week and rn he's asleep in my lap after a good few Lou Jitsu movies.

Being up late like this I ended up using the transportal just in our reality - set it to where I could go see the stars.

... As weird as this sounds, this didn't feel like loneliness, being out in the vastness of it all in Nevada. It felt like peace, breathing in the crisp air and simply being.

Maybe I can bring everyone out if they wanted but.. I dunno. I think I'll keep this little place to myself.

I've got extras back home so I'm just gonna.. get my tent and some stuff to cook with out here.
