i figure i vanish enough that maybe this time around i should actually post a hiatus. i’m not sure how long this will last. i was hoping once the fall semester from hell was over that my muses would recover but, alas, they are still stuck in the mud. i hope to see y’all again soon! stay salty <3

wow i am just not feeling any of my blogs or muses lately. icb it’s only 8pm and i already want to go to bed bc the one (1) thing i even relatively wanted to do won’t work.

dawn really prided herself on keeping a neutral zone between downworlders and nephilim. even if a lot of them pissed her off personally. she wouldn’t break her own rules over bias. so long as they behaved within her walls they wouldn’t get thrown out by the seat of her pants ( and she’d do it, too ).

despite her youth ( ha! ) she’d somehow become a high warlock, so with that came all the responsibility and ----------whatever. truth be told she felt like she’d really just done the bare minimum. maybe that’s really what a little altruism got nowadays. given the CLAVE’S treatment of everyone beneath them ( which was everyone ) she couldn’t claim surprise.

still, there were those individuals that somehow managed to get everyone’s heckles up. ira was one of those individuals. dawn had long since gotten over his attitude in general, and although she wouldn’t call them friends per say they were at least ALLIES. ❝ what can i do for you today, snake? ❞

relnoah was blissfully unaware that he looked like a TERRAN NIGHTMARE. red eyes glinting just so in the low light, ears poised downward, a trickle of blood streaking down his chin as FANGS sank into whatever raw meat chris had been preparing. the slab with a crescent shape chunk missing from it was replaced from where he snatched it, and he unceremoniously raised the hem of his shirt to wipe at his chin. ( he had a long day, he was old, he was allowed to be messy once in a while ).

only then did he catch chris’ gaze, pausing there in the kitchen with his shirt in his hands. ears twitched, puzzle pieces clicked, and he chuckled sheepishly. ❝ it’s a, uh, mihotat thing. i forgot you can’t eat raw meat. ❞

fish had long since accepted that most things were completely out of his hands. even things that were, physically, IN his hands. like the coffee he just made. making coffee in and of itself wasn’t unusual, he basically functioned solely on caffeine, but lo and behold he had made two cups----------which, of course, he only registered when he was sipping from his own cup and noticed another sitting on the counter.

his rumination on the matter was stalled by a gentle rapping at the door of his bus. ❝ oh, okay. ❞ he muttered mostly to himself once he opened the door and saw a woman standing there. without giving her time to say anything he vanished back into his little home on wheels, appearing again a few seconds later with the second cup in hand and offering it over. ❝ that joe’s f’r you. what can i do ya for? ❞
