"Lord of the silver bow, now hear my prayer! Great guardian of Tenedos and Chryse and sandy Cilla! Mouse Lord! If I ever built temples to your liking, ever burned fat thighs of oxen or of goats for you, fulfill this prayer for me, and let the Greeks suffer your arrows to avenge my tears!" (Homer. Iliad, trans. wilson)

Earthset
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon. The Apollo 8 mission was the first crewed spacecraft to circumnavigate the Moon.
For more imagery from the mission, visit our Artemis II Multimedia Page.

Apollo and the Raven
Apollo has many stories, and one of his myths that I find particularly interesting is the myth of Coronis. In short, it could be said that, oddly enough, Apollo has bad luck in romantic relationships. A raven, which at that time had white plumage, brought him the gossip of his partner's infidelity, and Apollo decided to make the "intelligent" decision to punish the poor raven, turning it into a symbol of bad omen.
In this drawing, I wanted to represent Apollo's connection with the raven, as a messenger of the god of prophecy, one who foretells bad news.
they still say your name.
Happy Valentineâs Day đ
Enjoy some Ares x Aphrodite kisses ~
Apollo trying to heal his lovers and children past the point of their death. Apollo resting glowing fingers on their blood-slick temples and kissing their charred flesh to knit the skin back together. Even though all hope is lost, even though the god of healing should be the first to recognise the signs of death.
Thanatos no longer comes to collect the archer godâs dead. Hermes has to crouch down to where his brother cowers over the corpse and give him words of comfort and dry his tears and pry his hands away from the limp body. He promises that he will bring his darlings to Elysium and that they will be fine and free of pain. And still every time his big brother cries and begs for him to let their soul remain in the body he can hold, begs Hermes to finally let him cross the border to the underworld himself. And every time Hermes listens and embraces him and letâs Apollo bury his face in the crook of his neck knowing exactly that he wonât bring his loves back and would never let his beloved brother leave this earth.
