Wire Mesh Sculptures, Or, Never Enough Time
(Scupltures by Seung Mo Park)

I look at projects like these, and I think, "Would that life could be twice as long, and I could try twice as many things, and make art that took hours and hours, and still read books and write books and scribble down poems in the margins of everything, on every napkin, and would that there was time to be in love, time to travel, time to cook every meal, time for chickens, time, time, world enough and time."
I love everything about this project. The intricacy, the skill, how thoughtful the portraiture is. I'm trying very hard to avoid saying I WISH I HAD THOUGHT OF THIS FIRST, but it's not going very well so far... http://365luckydays.blogspot.co.uk
The title of this post is a collection of many of my favorite words, all put together. The page it links to is no different.
LET KIDS MAKE ALL THE ART. FOREVER. FROM NOW ON.
From The Glitch Mob, my favorite glitch music-makers:
Our friend and collaborator Dugan O'Neal is a part of OMG Everywhere - a nonprofit founded by music video pros that hosts free filmmaking workshops for kids. They recently finished a week long filmmaking summer camp where the kids reenacted Dugan's "We Can Make The World Stop" video.
It can be done. Intelligently, deservedly, without cruelty. Critics (self included) take note!

You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.

I love this idea! The apron! The crisp collared shirt!
Note, I've now been a Southerner long enough that I wrote collard first. Mmm. Collards.

Cuan Print is Live!
I've listed the Cuan print on Etsy this morning, and already sold one so far (!!!!). Get your own limited-edition block print here!
Also, Happy Mardi Gras! (My third-favorite holiday!) May your day be filled with feathers, beads, bourbon (if that's your thing), and cake. It's noon here, I've been awake since 9, and I have eaten nothing besides the King's Cake I made between the hours of 10pm and 2am. I think I'll go eat some red beans and rice and some beignets for "lunch."
