help me stabilize my mental health!!
i know i fundraise on here a lot but this is a really big need for me that i’d really appreciate help with.
in february of this year my friend eve took her own life. i’ve been on a severe mental health spiral ever since. i’m struggling to get through each day, i’m failing most of my classes, and contributing events (my parents’ divorce, multiple friends attempting, my mom being homeless and in poverty) have made this incredibly difficult. i’ve been trying to do everything right - i see therapists, take meds, and nothing is helping.
two weeks ago my therapist suggested doing an outpatient partial hospitalization program to try and bring me to a more stable place. i am very lucky to have decent insurance coverage which would cover this and the space in my schedule to do so, but i plan to start the program the first week of january, meaning i would have to meet my $350 deductible first and pay 10% coinsurance ($40 a day). i will be getting a sizeable student loan refund which can really help me pay for this, but not until january 21st. my parents are willing to help but i don’t think they can assist as much as i need and i don’t want to be a burden on them with my mom still navigating poverty.
i’m looking to raise around a thousand dollars to help me meet these initial costs (around $500 before the first week even begins + $200 each subsequent week). i have a bank account i don’t use otherwise set aside for this and anything exceeding what i need to begin the program will go towards transportation as the program is across town from me and i don’t have a car.
anything you can share or donate would be so appreciated! anything i can raise before january 1st would help immensely.

Ate rice à la Trautmannsdorf and a peach. A man drinking wine watched my attempts to cut the unripe little peach with my knife. I couldn’t. Stricken with shame under the old man’s eyes, I let the peach go completely and ten times leafed through Die Fliegenden Blätter. I waited to see if he wouldn’t at last turn away. Finally I collected all my strength and in defiance of him bit into the completely juiceless and expensive peach.
