Book Fairy 📚

For the past few days, I’ve been working over at the library and it’s really sparked my interest for reading once again. Now that I’m a mom and I’m also back to work, it can sometimes be hard to find the time to sit down and open up a book. But with shelves upon shelves of interesting titles, it’s hard not to get lost in all these imaginary worlds. I’ve already made my way though a few books already and there’s a few more I have my eye on to read next. I definitely feel like after this week is over, I’m going to try to keep making trips over here to check out more books. So if anyone has any recommendations, I’m all ears. I was smart and chose not to do the library for the volunteering because I know for a fact with my track record when it comes to doing volunteer work in a library that I don't do the work because a book beckons me and I'm sat there in the corner with a pile of books just sucked into the story. So I chose The Bluebird Bed and Breakfast because I would actually get things done over there. And as for books recommendations I have a whole site for that or you could raid my personal library at my house.

Giant cat scenarios are always the most important and dangerous of scenarios that someone could be stuck in. How much did you eat of sugar-wise, just a ball park guess? And if you need a running buddy my baby husky she is a runner, her name is Athena. Not much just doing He For She things from Bayview in my home office and all those good things. Are you going to be involved in the volunteer week, I’m so excited to be on the hospitality team, to be honest. 

I’m expecting you to defend me Hermione-versus-troll style or else I’m a goner. Let’s just say enough to give a whole class of kindergarteners a sugar rush. I didn’t go last weekend, so I’ve been giving myself a break from all the junk food, as tempting as it is. Oh, that’s a new development – I didn’t know you adopted a dog. How old is she? And, you know, Athena’s a great name. That’s so awesome, the work you’re doing, and, yeah, I’ll be volunteering at Coral Street. How about you?

I mean I suppose I can whip out my old Hogwarts uniform for this very occasion, a very big occasion indeed. Blimey you ate that much? Shit. That's crazy. I trust you have recovered since then? Yeah she is still a puppy I got her from Angie in town actually, she gave me a puppy and I was like oh my God this is too sweet. And yes Athena, or Atty, she's a great dog. So energetic but I love her. Nice! I will be working at the Bluebird Bed and Breakfast.

I mean, in this giant cat scenario, it could get dangerous. Oh, you know, ate way too much sugar at the opening this weekend, so going to have to take more than a few runs on the beach. What’s up with you?

You’re welcome! I’m always here to support my friends, and I saw that and I was like crying big ugly mum friend tears because I was so happy for you. How did my grammy winning friend celebrate? And if you haven’t let me take you out and we can. 

I ended up going out to dinner to celebrate and then I hit up an after party with a couple close friends. But it’s nice to be back home now. I’ll never say no to a night out with you. Just let me know when and where.

Hi, yup, I know, I know – it’s been a while. Work picked up a little, then stayed with family, started learning how to play chess, but, hey, I’m back. Missed Bayview and everyone in it, of course. Thank you so much, Emma. Your support means the world to me. So far, i have no complaints. I nailed my performance and even won my first Grammy. So I’d say it’s been a good night.

I woke up this morning in my hotel room here in Los Angeles and let everything sink in for a moment. Not only am I nominated for three Grammy awards tonight, but I’m also opening up the entire show. Regardless if I win or lose, it’s still an absolute honor to even be nominated. But I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that my performance will be the grand opening of the whole show. What if my nerves get the best of me and my voice cracks? Or I pull a classic Harry Styles and trip and fumble my way all over the stage? Cross your fingers and wish me luck, in more ways than one. @townofbayview​

“No real signature dance moves,” he laughed, shaking his head, “I’m pretty decent at a slow dance, that’s about it,” he wasn’t really one to get out on the dance floor and bust a move these days, not when he could sit back and people watch, anyway. “Not everyone is a social butterfly, or wants to be out in the middle of that,” he pointed towards the dance floor. “There’s nothing wrong with anyone who does, though,” there had been a time where he would have been the first person out on the floor at a party, but people grew up eventually. Or at least changed. Glancing back out at the floor, Zach let out a low chuckle, “I have no idea. I just know a whole lot of ubers will be busy,” given that not a lot of people looked in good enough shape to drive. But then his thoughts were turning over to the dog she was describing, smiling to himself. “Huskies are nice,” he leaned over to watch the video that she was playing. “Has she been liking all the cold and snow?”

“I think I remember just awkwardly swaying when I was at school dances or anything behind the scenes for Harry Potter so like that was it, or you know the good old Macarena is a hit, still.” She said nodding her head “I think there’s a certain situation when I feel the need for being a massive flashy rainbow coloured social butterfly and others where I am one hundred percent happy as just a turtle in its shell.” she said before sipping at her drink “She loves the snow, I can’t get her out of it to be honest, the other day I was like freezing in the doorway begging her to come back inside and failing.”
