anyway, I was thinking about losers style because someone asked me to continue the series I never got close to finishing, so here’s me talking about what I think modern richie wears:

Richie Tozier x style (modern au)

(Note: I know this is an unpopular opinion with everyone. Punk!rich stans, wacky!richie stans, nerd!richie stans, I get it and I know and if you hate it I DONT care.)

Anyway. I think young!richie truly doesn’t give a fuck. This is what I picture him in late teens/early college years. Mostly sweatpants and gym shorts. T-shirt’s. Denim jackets. Backwards caps. If it’s uncomfortable, he’s not fucking wearing it. Bev tries to wrestle him into button ups many times and he’s like “it’s not gonna fucking happen, alright?” He loves vans and slides.

ben hanscom x style - modern au

in some sort of au where the losers are in their 20/30s now.

so out of all the dude losers ben has an eye for design. he’d have a fairly cohesive color palette and sense of shape. i headcanon him to be the “best dressed” of the losers. i imagine his daily wear goes something like this

bc of lingering body uncomforts, i think it’s rarer to see Ben without some sort of outerwear than with. sweaters, jackets, etc, are well within his comfort zone. i imagine he doesn’t drift into true business professional attire (suits, etc.) just bc he literally doesn’t have to. i also think he is not a fan of dress shoes and will wear what i call the Sensible men’s Boot.

i can also see Ben having a nice timepiece, not anything crazy expensive, but an investment. I think if bens going to invest money in anything, it’s tech.

tl;dr if you’re gonna see a loser with a snappy but sensible, coordinating sock, it’s Ben.

Mike Hanlon x style - modern au

I think mike has a simple, comfy style throughout adolescence and it isn’t until college that he starts getting sort of out there and into street wear. (Lbr his new friends are ragging on him.) still, his clothes are comfortable, he likes to fuck around with shilouettes and eventually he settles back in things more like the left but he definitely has a few years of ##fashion in his early 20s. He likes jewel tones… he just do. Footwear can vary from boots to cool sneakers to slides.

bill denbrough x style - modern au

Bill wears more navy than previously thought possible to man. He likes to layer things so if he gets hot/cold he can take stuff off as needed. He’s got a kind of douchey preppy style of the kid in your history class who talks too much but he doesn’t actually talk that much he sits in the back row and he’s always fucking writing something. He could have a girlfriend but doesn’t and no one knows why. He only owns two pairs of shoes. I’ll let you decide what they are.

Stan wears one outfit in slightly different color variations. I could explain myself but I don’t have to. He just does… this isn’t even headcanon honestly this is just how it is.
