There’s this INCREDIBLE new model named Varshita Thatavarthi who is, in addition to being ridic gorgeous, really revolutionizing beauty standards with regards to size and skin tone. She was rejected by modeling agencies OVER AND OVER for FIVE YEARS both for her weight and her dark skin, until by total chance she encountered Sabyasachi Mukherjee, a super famous sari designer, at a jewelry store. Now she’s a model for him. And I am so happy for her. Obvious reasons for posting this on Haven’s blog are obvious.
